The ROHO Agility Max Contour Back is a Permobil ROHO air wheelchair back support with ROHO air flotation cells for posterior and lateral trunk support. Westin Healthcare quotes and fits it in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area after a seating check.
This is a ROHO product. It is not a Future Mobility Prism back and it is not a Motion Composites NXT back. The shell uses air pads the therapist can set, and hardware that adjusts angle, height, and depth with one tool while the person stays in the chair. Fixed, quick-release, or Permobil Corpus direct-mount hardware is how ROHO sells it.

This air wheelchair back support is for a person at or under 300 lb (136 kg) whose therapist wants a deep mid-thoracic contour and adjustable lateral air pads. Families usually call us when they were quoted a ROHO Agility, not a foam Prism shell.

Air pads and hardware
ROHO prints adjustable lateral air pads and a pump with the back. Hardware is Zytel composite with steel and aluminum. Angle, height, and depth set with one tool. Quick-release, fixed (16 in height only on the 2024 form), or direct-mount for compatible Permobil Corpus seating. A seating therapist should set the first air and angle. We do not give clinical positioning advice. Ask the seating therapist.

ROHO Agility or Prism Air
The ROHO Agility Max Contour is Permobil's deep-contour air back. The Prism Air Back is Future Mobility's aluminum shell with separate lumbar and lateral bladders. They are different makers and different hardware. The NXT Xtend is a foam thoracic shell with built-in height travel, not an air cell back.
Funding help for a wheelchair cushion or back support in Ontario
This cushion or back support is an ADP positioning device category item. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of positioning devices such as cushions and back supports when they are prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist with an eligible mobility device, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every product qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin's own team delivers this wheelchair back support across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, fit the hardware when the chair allows, and show you the release and the pump before we leave.

Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased seating is delivered on a scheduled date.

ROHO's Agility operation manual warrants the back shell for 60 months and the cover, foam, lumbar support pad, and air insert for 18 months from the original purchase date. Wear, misuse, and unauthorised changes sit outside that term. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.

Is This a Motion Composites NXT Agility?
The ROHO Agility Max Contour Back is a Permobil ROHO product. Motion Composites NXT does not make an Agility back. If you were quoted NXT, ask us for the NXT Xtend or another NXT model instead.
Is This a Prism Back?
The ROHO Agility Max Contour Back is not a Future Mobility Prism product. For a Prism air shell, use the Prism Air Back.
What Size Wheelchair Back Do I Need?
The ROHO Agility Max Contour Back is ordered 14-20 in wide and 16, 18, or 20 in high. The therapist matches width to the chair and height to the trunk. Call us with those two numbers and the hardware type.
How Do I Choose Between Gel, Foam, and Air Cushions?
The ROHO Agility Max Contour is an air-cell back, not a seat cushion. The seat can still be foam, gel, or ROHO air. The therapist decides the seat separately from this back.
Does ADP Cover Wheelchair Cushions?
