Description
The Baja Raptor 2 3 wheel scooter is Pride Baja Mobility's faster street scooter: three 16 in tubeless pneumatic tires, up to 14 mph (22.5 km/h), and a 400 lb (181 kg) rating. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets up the BA300 across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Pride prints up to 19 miles (30.6 km) at 400 lb at full speed and up to 31 miles (49.9 km) at 220 lb at low speed. The turning radius is 60 in (152 cm). The scooter does not come apart. Assembled weight including seat, base, and batteries is 318.8 lbs (145 kg).
Who this scooter is for
This scooter is for a person who wants a 3-wheel Baja for packed paths, neighbourhood streets, and longer low-speed days, and who can operate a fast motorized scooter. Families usually call us when a Wrangler-class trail scooter feels too wide and slow, and they want the 14 mph street trim.
If you want the 4-wheel trail Baja, start with the Pride Baja Wrangler 2. If you want a full-size 4-wheel outdoor scooter that is not a Baja, see the Pride Pursuit 2. The Raptor 2 3-wheel is not a travel scooter and it is not a hallway scooter.
- 400 lb (181 kg) rating
- Up to 14 mph (22.5 km/h)
- 59 in long, 27.12 in wide, 60 in turn
Range, speed, and batteries
Pride prints up to 14 mph (22.5 km/h). Range is up to 19 miles (30.6 km) at 400 lb at full speed and up to 31 miles (49.9 km) at 220 lb at low speed. The long figure is a low-speed number. Fast riding, hills, and cold weather shorten it.
The pack is two 75 Ah batteries, 53 lbs (24 kg) each. The charger is 8 amp off-board. Charge until the LCD shows full, usually overnight. Lead-acid packs wear with charge cycles; Pride does not print a cycle count here.
Portability and transport
The Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel does not disassemble. Pride prints 212.8 lbs (96.5 kg) without batteries and 318.8 lbs (145 kg) assembled with seat, base, and batteries.
Plan on a vehicle lift or trailer, not a car trunk. It is not an airline cabin item. Sealed 75 Ah packs can travel as a mobility aid only when the airline agrees in advance. Two rear-view mirrors and a full LED package are standard for street visibility.

Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel or Wrangler 2
The Baja Raptor 2 3 wheel scooter is the street trim: 3 wheels, 14 mph (22.5 km/h), 60 in turn, 16 in tires, 3.5 in centre clearance. The Pride Baja Wrangler 2 is the trail trim: 4 wheels, 450 lbs, 11.4 mph (18.3 km/h), 94.75 in turn, 14.5 in tires, 8.25 in clearance, dual motors. Choose the Raptor 2 3-wheel for speed on packed paths. Choose the Wrangler 2 for gravel, grass, and property work.
Pride also makes a 4-wheel Raptor 2 (BA340) with a 13 mph top speed and a 92.52 in turn. That is a different model. The BA300 is the 3-wheel Raptor 2. The Pride Pursuit 2 is the lithium outdoor 4-wheel when you want a Pursuit, not a Baja.
Funding help for a mobility scooter in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a mobility scooter when the need is long-term and the scooter is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every scooter qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

Service and warranty
When something on the scooter needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Pride manufacturer warranty

Frequently asked questions
How far can a mobility scooter go?
The Baja Raptor 2 3 wheel scooter travels up to 19 miles (30.6 km) at 400 lb at full speed and up to 31 miles (49.9 km) at 220 lb at low speed. The long figure is a low-speed number.
How long to charge a mobility scooter?
The Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel uses an 8 amp off-board charger. Leave it on charge until the LCD shows full, usually overnight.
Does ADP cover scooters?
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can help with a power scooter after an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist assesses the person. Westin Healthcare walks you through that route. We cannot promise that a specific person will qualify.
Can I take a mobility scooter on a plane?
The Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel is a full-size scooter and is not an airline cabin item. Sealed 75 Ah packs may travel as a mobility aid only when the airline agrees in advance.
Can I use a mobility scooter in the rain?
The Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel is not waterproof. Pride tells riders to avoid rain, snow, ice, and standing water. Store it inside, ideally under a carport or in a garage.
3 wheel vs 4 wheel scooter?
The Baja Raptor 2 3 wheel scooter has one front tire and a 60 in turn. A 4-wheel Baja such as the Wrangler 2 has two front tires, more static stability, and a much larger turn. Choose three wheels for speed and a tighter street turn. Choose four wheels for trail stability.
Is there a 4-wheel Raptor 2?
Pride Baja Mobility also makes a Baja Raptor 2 4-Wheel, model BA340, at up to 13 mph (21 km/h) with a 92.52 in turn. That is a different scooter from this 3-wheel BA300.
What is the weight capacity?
The Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel is rated at 400 lbs (181 kg). Stay at or under that figure with rider and cargo together.
Will it fit through a doorway?
The Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel is 27.12 in (69 cm) wide and turns in 60 in (152 cm). Measure doors and the path around the house. It is a street scooter, not a tight indoor scooter.
Does the Raptor 2 fold into a car trunk?
The Baja Raptor 2 3-wheel does not fold. Pride prints 318.8 lbs (145 kg) assembled. Use a vehicle lift or trailer.
What is the warranty?
Pride Canada's scooter insert for the Baja Raptor 2 is lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics and drivetrain, and 13 months on batteries. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
