Description
The Quickie Q300 M Mini is Sunrise Medical's narrowest true mid-wheel power wheelchair. Westin Healthcare configures the adult Quickie seat or the Zippie pediatric configuration after an ADP-registered therapist assessment and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This is one Mini base, not two storefront chairs. The adult order uses SEDEO PRO or SEDEO LITE. The Zippie pediatric order uses growth seating from 10 inches wide. Sunrise Canada's adult page rates the base at 20.5 inches wide, a 17 inch turning radius without footplates, 6 mph, and up to 17 miles on a Group 22 / 50 Ah battery. An assessment comes first. For eligible clients, ADP can fund 75% of the approved price of a qualifying power wheelchair.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who needs mid-wheel drive in a very small indoor footprint: a 20.5 inch base that turns in 17 inches without the footplates. Adults stay at or under Sunrise's 300 lb rating. Children on the Zippie configuration stay at or under 165 lbs. Families usually call us when a 24 or 25 inch Quickie base will not clear a hallway, and when C-Me elevation still has to be on the plan.
If you need the larger redesigned mid-wheel, start with the Quickie Q700 M. If a compact 24 inch Quickie is enough, see the Quickie Q500 M. The Mini is not a folding travel chair.
- True mid-wheel, 20.5 inch base, 17 inch turning radius
- Adult SEDEO PRO or SEDEO LITE, or Zippie pediatric growth seating
- C-Me elevation up to 12 inches while driving up to 3 mph
Adult SEDEO and Zippie pediatric seating
SEDEO PRO on the adult Mini is the configurable seat for moderate needs: widths 16 to 22 inches, depths 14 to 22 inches, backs 21 to 30 inches, and 150 degree power recline with 4 inches of anti-shear. SEDEO LITE is the lighter one-tool frame: widths 15 to 20 inches, depths 16 to 22 inches. Sunrise says a Mini with SEDEO LITE can start at 266 lbs, which is why hitch-mounted lifts come up in the conversation. C-Me (12 inches at up to 3 mph) is available on PRO and LITE. JAY Syncra can go on SEDEO PRO.
The Zippie pediatric configuration is the same Mini base with seating that grows. Sunrise's Zippie page prints seat width 10 to 16 inches, depth 10 to 19 inches, back 12 to 20 inches, and seat-to-floor 17 to 19 inches. Width, depth, back height, footplates, and legrests adjust as the child grows. JAY Zip cushions and backs, the GS cushion, and Whitmyer pediatric headrests are the seating options named on that page. Capacity is 165 lbs.
Design and drive
Sunrise builds the Mini as a true mid-wheel so it turns on the spot. Length is 33 inches without footplates. Ground clearance is 3 inches. Drive wheels are 12 inches (the Zippie page also offers 14 inches). Casters are 7 inches. All-wheel independent suspension keeps six wheels on the ground. 4-pole motors are rated at 6 mph. Occupied transit brackets are standard. The base is tested to ISO 7176-19:2008.
Electronics are VR2, R-Net, or LiNX. LiNX adds SitSmarter memory seating and a touchscreen joystick option. Bluetooth is optional on R-Net and standard on LiNX. Switch-It specialty controls and CTRL+5 voice are manufacturer options when the therapist asks for them. The chair does not fold.

How this chair is configured
Every Mini is written on a Sunrise order form with the therapist: adult SEDEO PRO, adult SEDEO LITE, or Zippie pediatric. Seat size, electronics, C-Me, and power functions are set there. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will start the right form with you.
Mini, Q500 M, or Q700 M
The Mini is the 20.5 inch, 17 inch-turn Quickie. The Q500 M is the 24 inch compact mid-wheel. The Q700 M is the newly redesigned 25 inch mid-wheel with the HD option. Pick the base the home and the prescription can take, not the longest brochure.
Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every chair qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
After the chair is approved and built to the prescription, Westin's own team delivers and sets it up across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the joystick, charger, and seating functions before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a mid-wheel power chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This power wheelchair is oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Frequently asked questions
Is The Q300 M Mini Adult Or Pediatric?
The Quickie Q300 M Mini is one mid-wheel base. Westin writes an adult Quickie SEDEO order or a Zippie pediatric growth order on the same model page. The Zippie seat starts at 10 inches wide and is rated at 165 lbs. The adult seat is rated at 300 lbs.
What Does The ADP Code Cover On This Mini?
Ontario lists Quickie Q300M Mini with Sedeo Lite Seating as Adult Power Base Type 3 device WP0001891, and Q300M Mini with ASAP Seating System as Paediatric Type 3 device WP0001984. Your therapist and Westin confirm which row matches the form before anyone submits.
Who Qualifies For ADP Funding?
In general you must be an Ontario resident with a valid health card and a disability that needs a mobility aid for 6 months or longer. An ADP-registered OT or PT has to assess you first. We cannot promise that a specific person will qualify.
How Does The 75 / 25 Split Work?
For eligible clients, ADP pays 75% of the approved price and the person pays 25%. Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD can open 100% of that approved price. Batteries and items outside the ADP device are extra.
What Is The Assessment Process?
An ADP-registered OT or PT examines the person, helps complete the application, and works with Westin on the configuration. Ontario aims to review complete applications within 8 weeks. Do not order before those steps, or you may have to pay the full cost.
Can I Try A Q300 M Mini First?
Call (905) 451-7743 and ask what is on the floor. A trial or demo is a starting point. The funded chair is still built to the prescription.
How Small Is The Turning Radius?
The Quickie Q300 M Mini turns in 17 inches without the footplates. Sunrise prints a 20.5 inch width and a 33 inch length without footplates.
What Is The Weight Capacity?
Sunrise lists 300 lbs on the adult Quickie Mini and 165 lbs on the Zippie pediatric configuration. Stay at or under the rating on the order.
Does C-Me Work On The Mini?
The Quickie Q300 M Mini offers C-Me on SEDEO PRO and SEDEO LITE. Sunrise rates that elevate at up to 12 inches while driving up to 3 mph. The Zippie page also names C-Me at 3 mph.
What If The Prescription Includes Power Tilt Or Recline?
Ontario treats power dynamic tilt and/or recline as high technology. Those chairs are bought through the Central Equipment Pool. Your therapist will say if that path applies.
What Happens If ADP Declines?
Ontario sends a letter with the reason and how to follow up, including an appeal. Do not take delivery on the assumption that funding will arrive later.
Will It Fold Into A Car Trunk?
No. The Quickie Q300 M Mini is a rehab mid-wheel. Sunrise lists a 20.5 inch width and a starting weight of 250 to 322 lbs on the adult spec, depending on power seating.
