The Pride VivaLift Perfecta 2 is Pride Mobility's medium power lift recliner with a Merino button back and true-infinite positioning. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Pride Canada still lists Perfecta 2. It is a PLR-945M, not a 3-position chair.
Pride's Perfecta 2 table rates the chair at 400 lbs (181 kg) with a 22 by 20 inch (56 by 51 cm) seat and a 19 inch (48 cm) seat-to-floor. Power headrest, power lumbar, an independent backrest, a memory hand control, and a standard footrest extension are on the dealer sheet. A lithium backup pack keeps the chair usable if household power fails.

This lift chair is for a person who stays at or under the 400 lb rating and wants a 22 inch medium VivaLift in a smoother Merino fabric rather than Saville or Badlands. The older Pride height guide on this medium is 5'4" to 5'9" (163 to 175 cm). Sit in it before you buy if you can.

Positions and controls
The Pride VivaLift Perfecta 2 uses true-infinite positioning. The backrest and footrest move independently, including a Trendelenburg-like pose with the feet above the head. Pride's memory hand control stores two favourite positions. There is no heat system and no hideaway wireless pad on the official feature list.
The lithium backup is there so the lift still runs when the room loses power. The chair is not a substitute for a caregiver when the person cannot use a hand control.

Perfecta 2 or Metro 2
Perfecta 2 is the 22 by 20 inch Merino button-back. The Metro 2 is the 21 by 21 inch Saville chair with a 14 inch wall gap. The Elegance 2 is the tailored Badlands chair if you also need Large. A 3-position Pride Elegance such as the LC-570 does not have independent back and footrest motors.
Funding help for a lift chair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed. Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride VivaLift sheets print a 7-year pro-rated limited warranty for the original purchaser. Pride's lift-chair insert also keeps a lifetime term on the lift and scissor mechanism and the lift frame, and 12 months on the lithium backup pack. Fabric sits outside that term. Exceeding the 400 lb rating voids the Pride warranty. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
