Description

The Pride Victory 10 LX scooter is a mid-size 4-wheel mobility scooter from Pride Mobility with Comfort-Trac suspension, a 400 lb (181 kg) rating, a top speed of 5.6 mph (9 km/h), and a per-charge range of up to 16.16 miles (26.0 km). Westin Healthcare delivers and sets it up across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.

Pride still sells the Victory 10 LX with CTS Suspension new in Canada (model S710LX). It is the CTS, full-light, high-back Victory, not the faster Victory LX Sport and not the later Victory 10.2. The frame is about 22.25 in (57 cm) wide. Feather-touch disassembly splits it for a car trunk. The heaviest piece is about 78 lb (35 kg).

Who this scooter is for

This scooter is for a person who wants a 4-wheel mid-size platform with front and rear Comfort-Trac, a high-back seat, and a full LED lighting package, and who is comfortable with a larger turning circle. Families usually call us when a Victory 10.2 feels short on suspension, or when a Revo's 20 in seat is the right size but they want the Victory lights and tiller storage.

If you want the current 10.2 lighting package without CTS, see the Pride Victory 10.2 4-Wheel Scooter. If you want Comfort-Trac on a lighter 5-piece frame with a 20 in seat, see the Pride Revo 2.0 4-Wheel Scooter. The Victory 10 LX is not the 8 mph LX Sport.

  • 400 lb (181 kg) rating and a high-back seat
  • Comfort-Trac front and rear suspension
  • Full LED package, including directional signals

Range, speed, and batteries

Pride rates the Victory 10 LX at up to 5.6 mph (9 km/h). Pride Canada's current card prints a range of up to 25.5 km. The Canada spec sheet for S710LX prints up to 16.16 miles (26.0 km). Those figures vary with rider weight, terrain, battery size (U1 or 40 Ah), and tire type.

Use Batteries (Options) to choose the U1 pack or the 40 Ah pack. Both are sealed lead-acid. The charger is a 5 amp off-board unit on the tiller port. Pride tells daily riders to charge 8 to 14 hours after the day, and not to leave the charger on for more than 14 hours.

Portability and transport

Pride's feather-touch disassembly splits the Victory 10 LX into sections for a car trunk. The Canada spec sheet lists the heaviest piece at 77.6 lb (35.2 kg) for the front section, and 156.2 lb (70.8 kg) for the scooter without batteries. That is a two-person lift. It is built for the trunk, not for an aircraft cabin. Pride does not print an airline-compliant claim for these batteries. Ask the airline or cruise line before you travel.

Pride Victory 10 LX specifications

These figures are for Pride's Victory 10 LX with CTS Suspension, model S710LX, as printed on Pride Canada's current card and the Canada S710LX spec sheet. They are not Victory LX Sport (S710LXW) numbers.

Weight capacity 400 lb (181 kg). Top speed up to 5.6 mph (9 km/h). Turning radius 61 in (155 cm) on the current Canada card (59.9 in on the spec sheet). Length 47 in (119 cm). Width 22.25 in (57 cm). Ground clearance 2.2 in (56 mm) at the motor. Standard seat high-back, about 18 in by 18 in. Tires 3.5 in by 10 in solid; pneumatic optional. Batteries two U1 or two 40 Ah. Charger 5 amp off-board. Incline rating 6 degrees. Colours Candy Apple Red and Viper Blue.

Warranty for a Canadian purchaser follows Pride Canada's scooter card: lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics, and 2 years on drive motors.

Colour, tires, batteries, and accessories

Use Choose Color to pick blue or red. Pride finishes are Viper Blue and Candy Apple Red. Use Choose Tires for solid flat-free (standard) or pneumatic. Use Batteries (Options) for the U1 pack or the 40 Ah pack. Use Choose Accessories and Choose Cane/Crutch Holder only for extras you actually need. The front basket and the full LED package are standard.

Victory 10 LX or Victory 10.2

The Victory 10 LX is the CTS generation: front and rear suspension, a high-back seat, and a full light package, at up to 5.6 mph (9 km/h). The Victory 10.2 4-Wheel is the later mid-size value scooter: frosted LED headlights, USB, and an optional 40 Ah pack, at 5.2 mph (8.4 km/h), without Comfort-Trac on Pride Canada's card. The Revo 2.0 4-Wheel keeps CTS and a 20 in seat on a lighter 5-piece frame.

The Victory 10 LX is a different Pride model from the Victory LX Sport (S710LXW), which has a 25.5 in body and a much higher advertised top speed.

Funding help for a mobility scooter in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a mobility scooter when the need is long-term and the scooter is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every scooter qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA

Westin's own team delivers and sets up this scooter across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the tiller, charger, lights, and how the frame comes apart before we leave.

We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a scooter first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our mobility scooter rental service; purchased scooters are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.

This mobility scooter is oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the scooter is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty

When something on the scooter needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Pride manufacturer warranty

Pride Canada's current Victory 10 LX card is lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics, and 2 years on drive motors. Wear items such as tires and upholstery sit outside that term. Batteries wear with charge cycles. We handle the claim with you.

Frequently asked questions

How far can a mobility scooter go?

The Pride Victory 10 LX travels up to 16.16 miles (26.0 km) per charge on Pride's Canada spec sheet, and Pride Canada's card also prints up to 25.5 km. Range shortens with rider weight, hills, cold weather, and the smaller U1 pack.

How long does it take to charge a mobility scooter?

Pride tells Victory 10 LX riders to charge the batteries for 8 to 14 hours after a day of use, and not to leave the 5 amp charger connected for more than 14 hours. Occasional riders should give the packs an 8 to 14 hour charge twice a week.

Can I take a mobility scooter on a plane?

The Pride Victory 10 LX is not an airline folding scooter. It uses sealed lead-acid U1 or 40 Ah batteries and its heaviest piece is about 78 lb (35 kg). Pride does not print an airline-compliant claim for this model. Ask the airline before you book.

Can I use a mobility scooter in the rain?

Pride tells Victory riders not to operate or store the scooter in rain, snow, mist, ice, or below-freezing conditions, and not to ride on salted surfaces. Bring it in when the weather turns.

Does ADP cover scooters?

Depending on the person's situation and assessment, funding support may be available for a mobility scooter in Ontario. Westin Healthcare's staff work with funding programs every week and can point you to the right route. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 before you buy.

3 wheel vs 4 wheel scooter?

The Pride Victory 10 LX is a 4-wheel scooter with a 61 in (155 cm) turning radius on Pride Canada's card. Westin does not list a 3-wheel 10 LX. For a tighter mid-size turn, see the Victory 10.2 3-Wheel at 42 in (107 cm).

What is the turning radius of a mobility scooter?

The Pride Victory 10 LX has a 61 in (155 cm) turning radius on Pride Canada's current card. That is larger than the Victory 10.2 4-Wheel (52.25 in) and much larger than a Revo 3-Wheel (40 in). Plan indoor space around that circle.

How much does a Pride Victory 10 LX weigh?

The Pride Victory 10 LX weighs 156.2 lb (70.8 kg) without batteries on the Canada spec sheet. The heaviest piece after disassembly is 77.6 lb (35.2 kg) for the front section.

Can a mobility scooter go in a car trunk?

The Pride Victory 10 LX uses Pride's feather-touch disassembly so the frame sections pack into a large car trunk. Measure the trunk opening against the 78 lb front section before you count on one person doing the lift.

What is the weight capacity of a Pride Victory 10 LX?

The Pride Victory 10 LX is rated at 400 lb (181 kg), including the rider and anything carried in the basket.
