Description
The Pride Jazzy EVO 614HD is Pride Mobility's JEVO614HD full-size mid-wheel power chair. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is the 450 lb sister of the EVO 614. It does not fold.
Pride rates the chair at 450 lbs (204 kg) and up to 4.88 mph (7.8 km/h). Range is up to 13 miles (20.9 km) at 450 lbs, or 21.5 miles (34.6 km) at 200 lbs, on a pair of 12-volt NF-22 sealed lead-acid batteries. The turning radius is 22 inches.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who needs a full-size mid-wheel power chair at Pride's 450 lb rating, fits a Pride high-back from 18 to 24 inches, and wants 13.75 inch drive wheels for indoor halls and outdoor thresholds. Families usually call us when the 300 lb EVO 614 is too small in the rating, or when a folding carbon chair cannot carry the day.
If you want the 300 lb EVO 614 with the same 13.75 inch wheels, start with the Pride Jazzy EVO 614. If you want a 22 inch narrow base and a lithium pack, see the Pride Jazzy EVO 613 Li. The 614HD is not a folding travel chair.
- A 450 lb mid-wheel rating
- A 22 inch turning radius and 13.75 inch perforated drive wheels
- NF-22 batteries and a 5-amp off-board charger
Range, speed, and batteries
The Pride Jazzy EVO 614HD travels up to 13 miles (20.9 km) per charge at 450 lbs, or up to 21.5 miles (34.6 km) at 200 lbs. Pride's footnotes say range changes with user weight, terrain, battery type, battery condition, and tire pressure. Plan a shorter day than the headline figure if the person is near 450 lbs or the route is not flat.
Top speed is up to 4.88 mph (7.8 km/h). Batteries are two 12-volt NF-22 sealed lead-acid packs, 36 lbs each. The charger is 5-amp off-board. This factory pack is not lithium.
Portability and transport
The EVO 614HD does not fold. Pride lists 25.4 inches wide and 40.5 inches long. The heaviest piece is the 125.7 lb base. The high-back seat is 57.8 lbs. Total weight with seat and both batteries is 255.5 lbs. Plan on a van, a lift, or an accessible vehicle if it has to travel, not a car trunk.
Pride Jazzy EVO 614HD specifications
These figures are for Pride model JEVO614HD, as printed on Pride's specification table, the 061226 brochure, and the Pride Canada card. The specification tab holds the stored values. Pride Canada's shop SKU on that card is JZEVO614HD1001.
Weight capacity 450 lbs (204 kg). Top speed up to 4.88 mph (7.8 km/h). Turning radius 22 inches. Width 25.4 inches on Pride's US brochure (Pride Canada's widget also prints 25.75 inches). Length 40.5 inches. Ground clearance 3 inches. Drive wheels 13.75 inch perforated. Front and rear casters 6 inch solid. Two in-line HD motors. Full independent front and rear Active-Trac ATX. Electronics 60A Dynamic Linx with a speed dial.
Pride sells a depth-adjustable, limited-recline memory foam high-back with a headrest and a heavy-duty swivel seat post. Seat sizes on the brochure are 18 by 18-20, 20 by 18-20, 22 by 20-22, and 24 by 22-24 inches. Seat-to-floor is 22 to 24 inches. Maximum seat 24 by 24. Pride does not list a power elevating seat on this model. Ask us which size to order. There is no colour or seat picker on the template yet.
Colours Pride sells are matte Black, White, Red, Iceberg Blue, Robin's Egg Blue, and Sugar Plum. Shrouds are removable colour-through pieces.
Do not mix these numbers with the EVO 614 (300 lb, 4.4 mph / 7 km/h, seats 16 to 20) or with the older non-EVO Jazzy 614 HD.
Warranty for a Canadian purchaser follows Pride Canada's card and the current standard-power insert: 5-year limited on the frame, 2-year limited on electronics and drive motors, and 13-month limited on batteries. Pride's US brochure still prints 13 months on electronics and drivetrain.

Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every chair qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This power chair is oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
