The Pride Elegance LC-570 lift chair is Pride's 3-position Elegance power lift recliner in Small, Medium, and Large. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Pride no longer cards the LC-570 on the Pride Canada shop. Call us before you order so we can confirm Pride will still fill a classic Elegance.
Pride's March 2024 Canada Elegance sheet rates every LC-570 size at 375 lbs (170 kg). The back, seat, and footrest travel together through lift, sit, and full recline. Total Comfort Seating is Pride's one-piece foam seat over a spring pack. The hand control has a USB port unless you add optional heat and massage.
Who this lift chair is for
This lift chair is for a person who stays at or under the 375 lb rating, fits Pride's Small, Medium, or Large Elegance build, and wants a 3-position lift and recline rather than independent back and footrest motors. Families usually call us when standing from a low sofa is the hard part, and they still want a waterfall back that looks like living-room furniture.
If you want the current Pride chair that still uses the Elegance name, start with the Pride VivaLift Elegance 2. That chair is infinite-position, not 3-position. If you want a medium-only classic Elegance with a removable chaise, see the Pride Elegance LC-450.

3-position recline and lift
A 3-position Pride lift chair moves the back and footrest together. You can stop anywhere in that travel. You cannot raise the feet while the back stays upright. That independent travel is infinite-position, and it is the Pride Essential LC-107 or a VivaLift, not the LC-570.
Pride prints an integrated battery backup. The 9-volt cells are not included. Optional heat and massage is sold on this chair. Pride says the USB port is not available when that option is selected. Optional footrest extension is sold on this chair. Use Choose Size for Small, Medium, or Large, and use Choose Color for the Cloud 9 fabric.
Fit and wall clearance
Pride's 2024 Canada Elegance sheet prints these figures. Measurements may vary by about 1 inch (2.5 cm).
Small LC-570S, 5'3" and below: seat-to-floor 18.5" (47.0 cm), seat 17" wide by 19.5" deep (43.2 by 49.5 cm), back 23.5" (59.7 cm), 16.5" (41.9 cm) from the wall, 33.5" (85.1 cm) overall, 110 lbs (50 kg).
Medium LC-570M, 5'4" to 5'9": seat-to-floor 19.5" (49.5 cm), seat 18.5" by 19.5" (47.0 by 49.5 cm), back 26" (66.0 cm), 19" (48.3 cm) from the wall, 34.5" (87.6 cm) overall, 113 lbs (51 kg).
Large LC-570L, 5'10" and above: seat-to-floor 20.5" (52.1 cm), seat 20.5" by 21.5" (52.1 by 54.6 cm), back 27" (68.6 cm), 19.5" (49.5 cm) from the wall, 35.5" (90.2 cm) overall, 114 lbs (52 kg).
Pride Elegance LC-570 specifications
These figures are for the Pride Elegance LC-570 as printed on Pride Canada's March 2024 Elegance sheet. The specification tab holds the stored values. Pride's August 2023 end-to-end catalog still prints a few different seat widths. We use the 2024 sheet when they fight.
Weight capacity 375 lbs (170 kg) on every size. 3-position chaise. Total Comfort Seating. USB Easy Touch hand control. Standard head and arm covers and dual pockets. Engineered furniture-grade laminate and hardwood frame. Quiet lift and scissor. Fire retardant to California bulletin 117-2013. Integrated battery backup (batteries not included).
Warranty for a Canadian purchaser on the Elegance collection is Pride's 7-year pro-rated limited term plus lifetime on the steel lift frame. Fabric sits outside that term.
Colour, size, and add-ons
Use Choose Color to pick Cloud 9 Pacific, Stone, Walnut, or Black Cherry. Use Choose Size for Small, Medium, or Large. Use Addons if you want Pride's heat and massage or the footrest extension. Ask us if you want a colour Pride prints that is not in Choose Color.
3-position Elegance, or the VivaLift Elegance 2
The LC-570 is the classic 3-position Elegance with a size ladder. The LC-450 is the medium-only Elegance with a 20" (50.8 cm) seat and a removable chaise. The VivaLift Elegance 2 is Pride's current Elegance name: infinite-position, power headrest and lumbar, not a 3-position chair.
Funding help for a lift chair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed. Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride's Elegance collection, Canada only, is lifetime limited on the steel lift frame and 7-year pro-rated limited on the motor, hand control, transformer, heat pad, massage unit, and scissor. Years 1 to 4 are repair or replace. Years 5 to 7 follow Pride's printed 25, 15, and 5 percent schedule. Fabric sits outside that term. Exceeding the 375 lb rating voids the warranty. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.

How Far From The Wall Does A Lift Chair Need To Be?
The Pride Elegance LC-570 needs 16.5" (41.9 cm) from the wall in Small, 19" (48.3 cm) in Medium, and 19.5" (49.5 cm) in Large on Pride's 2024 sheet. Leave that gap behind the chair so the back can recline.
3 Position Vs Infinite Position?
The Pride Elegance LC-570 is 3-position: back and footrest move together. An infinite-position chair such as the Pride Essential LC-107 or a VivaLift moves the back and footrest on separate motors. Pick 3-position when a simple lift, sit, and nap recline is enough.
Does The LC-570 Have USB On The Hand Control?
