The Golden PR515 lift chair is Golden Technologies' MaxiComfort Cloud with Twilight, a 5-zone power lift recliner that Golden prints as a tilt-in-space chair with a true feeling of weightlessness. Westin Healthcare sells it, delivers it, and sets it up for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Two hybrid sizes cover the Cloud bucket seat: PR515-SME Small-Medium and PR515-MLA Medium-Large.
Golden's current sheet rates both sizes 375 lb (170 kg). The seat is 23.5 inches (60 cm) wide on either frame. Twilight tilt lets you raise the feet above the heart. MaxiComfort positioning, an articulating headrest, and power lumbar are standard. The AutoDrive hand control saves the positions you use every day.
Who this lift chair is for
This lift chair is for someone who wants more than a 3-position recliner: independent lower-body and upper-body motion, a powered headrest and lumbar, and Golden's Twilight tilt. Families usually call us when a Pride 3-position chair no longer gives enough recline, or when they want the Cloud bucket seat and biscuit back in a chair that still lifts to standing.
It is not a 3-position value chair. That is the Pride Essential LC-106. It is not a Pride VivaLift. If you want Pride's current infinite-position line, start with the Pride VivaLift Tranquil. The PR515 is Golden's Twilight Cloud in the two sizes we stock.

MaxiComfort and Twilight positioning
Golden prints two patents on this chair. MaxiComfort is infinite recline that moves the seat as you go back, so the body stays supported from sit through TV, sleep, and zero-gravity-style rest. Twilight is the fifth comfort zone: the whole seat tilts so the feet can sit above the heart and Golden's sheet can call the result a feeling of weightlessness. Golden also prints a ZG+ position on both sizes.
The five zones on the AutoDrive hand control are lower body, upper body, headrest, lumbar, and Twilight tilt. Each zone moves on its own. Programmable buttons store the positions you want back later. This is how Golden describes a zero gravity lift chair. It is not a 3-position chair whose back and footrest travel together.
Size and wall space
Use Choose Size for Small-Medium (5'1" to 5'6", PR515-SME) or Medium-Large (5'7" to 6'2", PR515-MLA). Those height bands are the size names we sell. Golden's current PR515 sheet does not reprint a height range in feet. We confirm the fit in the showroom against the seat numbers below.
PR515-SME: seat 23.5 inches (60 cm) wide and 18.5 inches (47 cm) deep, floor to seat 20 inches (51 cm), back 28 inches (71 cm), arm 8 inches (20 cm), overall 35.5 inches (90 cm) wide and 44 inches (112 cm) tall, 23 inches (58 cm) from the wall when reclined.
PR515-MLA: same 23.5 inch (60 cm) seat width, seat 20 inches (51 cm) deep, floor to seat 21.5 inches (55 cm), back 31 inches (79 cm), arm 8.5 inches (22 cm), overall 39.5 inches (100 cm) wide and 46.5 inches (118 cm) tall, 24 inches (61 cm) from the wall when reclined. Both sizes need 43 inches (109 cm) from the back of the seat to the end of the footrest when open.

Do not mix these numbers with Pride VivaLift seats or with Golden's Cloud PR510 (MaxiComfort, no Twilight). Do not mix them with Cloud Supreme PR519, which is Golden's current catalog Cloud with Twilight and a 400 lb (181 kg) rating.
Colour and size options
Use Choose Size for Small-Medium or Medium-Large before you order. Use Choose Color for the fabric you want. Golden's standard SofTouch colours with Stain Defense on the current sheet are Calypso, Camel, Hazelnut, Shiraz, and Sterling. The colours we stock on Choose Color are Hazelnut, Sterling, Copper, Calypso, and Shiraz, plus Brisa upgrades in Buckskin, Coffee Bean, and Bridle. Golden charges an upcharge for crossover fabrics, including Brisa.
Heat and massage is a Golden option, not a colour. If you want Golden's deluxe heat and vibrating massage, HeatWave, or the footrest extension, call (905) 451-7743 and we will check the upgrade.
3-position, infinite, or Twilight
A 3-position lift chair moves the back and footrest together through sit, TV, and recline. Our 3-position chairs are the Pride Essential LC-106 and the Pride Heritage LC-358.
An infinite-position chair lets the back and footrest travel on their own, so the person can sit up with the legs out or lie flatter. Pride's current infinite line on our floor is VivaLift, including the Tranquil, the Metro, and the Ultra.
Twilight on this Golden PR515 adds the fifth zone: the seat itself tilts. That is the fork if the person wants the Cloud bucket and the feet-above-heart tilt Golden prints. It is still a lift chair. It is not a hospital bed.
Funding help for a lift chair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed. Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Golden manufacturer warranty
Golden warrants the chair frame, lift frame, and recline mechanism to the original purchaser for life against breakage from defective materials or workmanship. Labour on those parts is subsidized for three years. Electrical parts (hand control, motor, transformer, control box, heating pad, massage unit) are covered for three years, then prorated in years four through seven. Electrical labour is subsidized for one year. The warranty is residential only. It does not cover misuse, non-residential use, or exceeding the 375 lb (170 kg) capacity. The Golden PR515 lift chair is sold in two sizes. Small-Medium (PR515-SME) is the 5'1" to 5'6" choice: 18.5 inch (47 cm) seat depth, 20 inch (51 cm) seat-to-floor, 23 inches (58 cm) from the wall. How Far From the Wall Does a Lift Chair Need to Be?
The Golden PR515 lift chair needs 23 inches (58 cm) from the wall on the Small-Medium frame and 24 inches (61 cm) on the Medium-Large frame when it is fully reclined. Plan 43 inches (109 cm) in front from the back of the seat to the end of the open footrest. This is not a wall-hugger.
What Is the Difference Between a 3-Position and an Infinite Position Lift Chair?
The Golden PR515 lift chair is not a 3-position chair. A 3-position chair such as the Pride LC-106 moves the back and footrest together. An infinite-position chair moves them on their own. Twilight on the PR515 adds a fifth zone so the seat can tilt and the feet can sit above the heart.
Does Twilight Mean Zero Gravity?
The Golden PR515 lift chair is the zero gravity lift chair in this Golden Cloud pair because Twilight tilts the seat and Golden prints a ZG+ position on both sizes.
