The Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 is Pride Mobility's tailored Badlands power lift recliner with true-infinite positioning. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is model PLR-975, not the classic Pride Elegance LC-570 or LC-450.
Pride's Elegance 2 medium table rates PLR-975M at 400 lbs (181 kg), a 21 by 21 inch seat, 20 inches (51 cm) seat-to-floor, and 14 inches (36 cm) from the wall. Pride Canada still lists Medium and Large in Badlands Walnut, Steel, and Mushroom. Power headrest, power lumbar, an independent backrest, and a standard footrest extension are on the sheet. A lithium backup pack keeps the chair usable if household power fails.
Who this lift chair is for
This lift chair is for a person who stays at or under the 400 lb rating and wants a tailored VivaLift rather than a 3-position classic Elegance. Medium follows Pride's 5'4" to 5'9" (163 to 175 cm) guide. Large is the 5'10" (178 cm) and above chair with a 22 by 22 inch seat.
If you want a 3-position Pride Elegance with Cloud 9 fabric, that is a different chair: the Pride Elegance LC-570 or the Pride Elegance LC-450. If you want heat on a current VivaLift, see the Radiance.

Positions and controls
The Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 uses true-infinite positioning. The backrest and footrest move independently. Pride Canada's feature list is power headrest, power backrest, power lumbar, a USB remote with soft-touch buttons, a lithium backup, a footrest extension, and a fully removable chaise. There is no heat system on this model.
The lithium backup is there so the lift still runs when the room loses power. The chair is not a substitute for a caregiver when the person cannot use a hand control.
Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 specifications
These figures are for the Pride VivaLift Elegance 2. Medium numbers come from Pride's live PLR-975M table. Large numbers come from the Pride Large column Pride Canada still sells and that this product already stored. The specification tab holds a generic family bucket. Use this table when they fight.
Both sizes: weight capacity 400 lbs (181 kg). Footrest extension standard. Lithium backup. Warranty on the sheet is 7-year pro-rated.

Size and colour
Use Choose Size for Medium or Large. Use Choose Color for Badlands Walnut, Badlands Steel, or Badlands Mushroom. Those three are the colours Pride Canada still lists. Pride's US Elegance 2 page now shows a walnut-only medium. We sell the Canada Badlands chair.
VivaLift Elegance 2 or classic Pride Elegance
VivaLift Elegance 2 is an infinite-position PLR-975 with power lumbar and a power headrest. Classic Pride Elegance is a different collection: the LC-570 and the LC-450 are 3-position chairs in Cloud 9 fabric with a 375 lb rating. Same English word, different Pride model codes. Funding help for a lift chair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed. Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride's Elegance 2 sheet prints a 7-year pro-rated limited warranty for the original purchaser. Pride's lift-chair insert also keeps a lifetime term on the lift and scissor mechanism and the lift frame, and 12 months on the lithium backup pack. Fabric sits outside that term. Exceeding the 400 lb rating voids the Pride warranty. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.

Is This the Same Chair as the Pride Elegance LC-570?
The Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 is not the Pride Elegance LC-570. This chair is PLR-975, infinite position, 400 lb, Badlands fabric. The LC-570 is a 3-position classic Elegance in Cloud 9 with a 375 lb rating. See the LC-570 page if that is the chair you meant.
What Size Lift Chair Do I Need?
The Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 comes in Medium PLR-975M (21 by 21 inch seat, 5'4" to 5'9") and Large PLR-975L (22 by 22 inch seat, 5'10" and above). Sit in both if you can.
How Far From the Wall Does a Lift Chair Need to Be?
The Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 needs 14 inches (36 cm) from the wall in Medium and 16 inches (41 cm) in Large.
What Is the Difference Between a 3 Position and an Infinite Position Lift Chair?
A 3-position lift chair such as the Pride Elegance LC-570 moves the back and footrest together. The Pride VivaLift Elegance 2 is infinite: the backrest and footrest run on their own.
