Drive Battery Backup for PrimeCare P903

The Drive Battery Backup for P903 Beds (Westin SKU P903-BBK) is the emergency power kit with a mounting bracket for a Drive PrimeCare P903. Without a backup, Drive's P903 owner manual says the bed will not operate when it is unplugged. Drive's current Timotion kit is P903-T-BBK, printed as "BATTERY BACKUP W/MOUNTING, P903, Timotion", for serial numbers greater than 11L1906. Westin Healthcare sells the backup in Brampton and can fit it when we set up a matching P903 across the Greater Toronto Area.

Which beds this fits

Drive's current US P903 brochure lists P903-T-BBK as the Timotion battery backup with mounting. Drive's current shop card for that kit says it is for beds with serial numbers greater than 11L1906. The current P903 parts diagram names P903-T-BBK as the battery bracket with hardware and P903-BBK-02E as the replacement cell only. Older Linak serials used P903-BBK-01E.

It does not fit the Drive PrimeCare P703. That frame has its own kit, P703-BBK. It does not fit a Drive Delta 1000 or a Drive Delta 15235. Those Ultra-Light frames use a 9V pendant backup, not this kit. It does not fit a Drive 15005LP. Drive prints battery backup as N/A on that sheet and uses a crank override instead.

Read the serial on the frame before you order. A replacement cell (P903-BBK-02E) is not the same carton as the mounting kit. Tell us if the bed already has a bracket.

These figures are for Westin SKU P903-BBK, internal name BATTERY BACKUP W/BRACKET F/903. Drive's current public kit is P903-T-BBK, UPC 50822383000430. The specification tab should name the carton we actually ship.

Drive's current P903-T-BBK card prints one fact: for use on beds with serial numbers greater than 11L1906. The 2017 P903 owner manual says the backup is for emergency use, that the standard bed will not run unplugged, and that DC batteries were covered for 90 days in that revision. Drive's current shop card does not print a runtime, a charge time, or a warranty term for the kit.

Hospital beds are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply when this kit travels with a bed.
