Description
The Medline EZ Bath Lift is Medline item MDSEZBATHLFT, a bath lift chair for elderly use that sits in most standard bathtubs. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Medline Canada prints a 300 lb (136 kg) rating and a 23 lb (10.4 kg) unit weight.
Medline Canada prints the sitting height from 2.3 in to 18.8 in (5.8 cm to 47.7 cm). The hand control is waterproof and floats. Medline prints a charge in as little as 1 hour. The seat and back covers are machine washable. Setup is tool-free. Suction feet grip the tub floor.
Who this bath lift is for
This bath lift is for a person who stays at or under Medline Canada's 300 lb rating and who wants a portable powered seat in the tub they already have. Families usually call us when they want a lift they can take apart without tools and store between baths.
If you want the Drive Bellavita lift instead, start with the Bellavita Auto Bath Lifter. If the person needs to sit outside the tub and slide in, see the Drive Combination Transfer Bench and Commode.
- A seated soak in a standard tub, with a powered raise and lower
- Medline Canada sitting height 2.3 in to 18.8 in
- Tool-free take-apart, floating hand control, about a 1 hour charge
Charge, covers, and suction feet
Medline Canada prints that the EZ Bath Lift charges in as little as 1 hour. The hand control is waterproof and floats so it stays in reach in the water. Seat and backrest covers drain and go in the washing machine. Suction feet are standard. Medline's Canadian card does not print a will-not-lower lockout sentence. Treat a low battery as a reason to charge before the next bath.
This is not the Drive Bellavita. Do not use Bellavita seat or back measurements on this Medline SKU.
Medline EZ Bath Lift specifications
These figures are for Medline item MDSEZBATHLFT as printed on Medline Canada's brand card. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use 2.3 in to 18.8 in and 300 lb from that card. Some Canadian dealers reprint 308 lb and a slightly different height band. We stay with Medline Canada until Medline's own IFU is on the file.
Capacity 300 lb (136 kg). Unit weight 23 lb (10.4 kg). Sitting height 2.3 in to 18.8 in (5.8 cm to 47.7 cm). Charge in as little as 1 hour. Tool-free split. Medline Canada does not print a warranty year on the brand card.
Bath lift chair or transfer bench
A bath lift chair for elderly use sits inside the tub and raises and lowers on a battery. A transfer bench bridges the tub wall so the person sits outside and slides in. The Medline EZ Bath Lift is a bath lift. It is not a transfer bench and it is not a shower commode.
If the person cannot step over the tub wall and does not want a powered seat, start with the Drive Combination Transfer Bench and Commode. If they want the Drive Bellavita instead, use the Bellavita Auto Bath Lifter.
Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario

Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation.
