Description
The Human Care Waist Belt with Velcro is an elastic belt that adds support around the waist during a lift. It is not a lift sling. It does not hang on a spreader bar. Westin Healthcare sells it in Brampton as the optional belt Human Care names for slings such as the Human Care Amputee Sling.
Choose the article by functional length, which is the length when the belt is fastened. The working load belongs to the sling and lift you use it with, not to this belt.

Human Care wrote this belt for extra support during lifting. It is elastic and closes with Velcro. It is an accessory for a Human Care sling, not a standalone transfer device. Children and adult lengths are listed separately.

Attachment and compatible lifts
This belt attaches with Velcro around the waist. It is not a loop sling and not an E-clip sling. It does not replace the hanger-bar connection.
Use it only with the Human Care sling it is ordered for, on a Human Care motor hanging from the Humancare Lena or the Humancare FlexiRail. The sling owns the attachment type (loop or E-clip) and the safe working load.

Articles are 25145 with the length code in the table. The belt is elastic with a Velcro close. Human Care does not print a safe working load on this accessory. A buckle sibling exists as 25146 and is not this listing.
Care and laundering
Human Care's waist-belt card does not print a wash cycle. Follow the label on the belt you receive. If the belt ships with an amputee or other Human Care sling, follow that sling's laundry bag and label rules as well.

Human Care manufacturer warranty
Human Care's current waist-belt card does not print a simple year-count warranty. Ask us for the warranty that ships with your order. We handle the claim with you.

Is this a lift sling?
No. It is an elastic Velcro waist belt. The lift sling it is used with hangs on the hanger bar and carries the working load.
Is this an E-clip or a loop?
Neither. Attachment is Velcro around the waist.
What size should I order?
Use Human Care's functional length, which is the length when the belt is fastened. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use.
Does it come with the amputee sling?
No. Human Care lists it as optional. We sell the belt separately from the amputee sling.
Does it have a weight rating?
Human Care does not print a safe working load on this belt. Stay inside the rating of the sling and lift you pair it with.
Is there a buckle version?
Yes. Human Care names waist belt 25146 with a safety buckle. That is a different article from this Velcro 25145 family.
How do I wash it?
Follow the label on the belt. The current card does not print a wash temperature.
Does funding cover a waist belt in Ontario?
Accessories follow the funding path of the lift they are used with. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will check the lift, sling, and belt together.
