How the Freestander stands

The pelvic belt is the starting point for hip alignment over the base. Chest width is 6-10 / 8-12 / 10-14 in. Chest height (footplate to armpit) is 20.7-33.5 / 26.8-43.3 / 38.4-56.1 in. Trays are 16 x 21, 18 x 23, and 20 x 25 in. A caregiver stays with the child in the frame.

Funding help for a pediatric stander in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) lists pediatric walkers, standers, and strollers as funded mobility aids. ADP can fund 75% of the cost of a pediatric stander when it is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full client share.
