Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Pride no longer cards the LC-106 on the Pride Canada shop. Pride's August 2023 Canada catalog rates the LC-106 at 325 lbs (147 kg) with a 20" by 19" (50.8 by 48.3 cm) sinuous-spring seat. The back, seat, and footrest travel together. The hand control is Pride's Easy Touch two-button remote. This is not an infinite-position chair.
Who this lift chair is for
This lift chair is for a person who stays at or under the 325 lb rating, fits Pride's medium Essential seat, and wants a simple 3-position lift and recline at the Essential warranty term. Families usually call us when they need a quieter lift than a sofa and they do not need separate back and footrest motors.

3-position recline and lift
A 3-position Pride lift chair moves the back and footrest together. You can stop anywhere in that travel. You cannot raise the feet while the back stays upright. That independent travel is the LC-107, not the LC-106.
Pride prints an integrated battery backup. The 9-volt cells are not included. Pride does not print heat and massage or a footrest extension on the LC-106. Use Choose Color for Black Cherry, Pacific, Stone, or Walnut.

Pride's August 2023 Canada catalog prints the LC-106 as Medium, 5'4" to 5'9", seat-to-floor 18" (45.7 cm), seat 20" wide by 19" deep (50.8 by 48.3 cm), back 27.5" (69.9 cm), 18" (45.7 cm) from the wall, 32.75" (83.2 cm) overall, 96 lbs (43.5 kg). Measurements may vary by about 1 inch (2.5 cm). Pride's March 2024 Essential sheet prints a few different back and weight figures. We use the 2023 catalog when they fight.

These figures are for the Pride Essential LC-106 as printed on Pride Canada's August 2023 end-to-end catalog. The specification tab holds the stored values. A stored 375 lb / 7-year / Total Comfort line is a Heritage paste. The LC-106 is 325 lb, sinuous spring, 1-year limited.

3-position Essential, or the LC-107
The LC-106 is the 3-position Essential. The LC-107 is the infinite-position Essential with a standard footrest extension. The LC-250 is the 375 lb 3-position Classic / Essential medium. The VivaLift Metro 2 is a current Pride infinite chair we sell.
Funding help for a lift chair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed.
