Description
The Pride Jazzy Ultra Light is Pride Mobility's JZULIGHTMS folding power wheelchair. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is Pride's lightest Jazzy. The person drives with the joystick. The carbon fibre frame folds and locks.
Pride's December 2024 spec sheet lists a 300 lb rating, speeds up to 3.69 mph (5.94 km/h), a 33.19 inch turning radius, and two lithium packs: 10Ah or 20Ah at 25.2V. Pride publishes 33 lbs without the battery. With the 10Ah box the website table is 38 lbs. With the 20Ah box it is 40 lbs.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who fits Pride's 18 by 18 inch mesh seat, stays at or under the 300 lb rating, and wants the lightest Pride folder we sell. Families usually call us when the Jazzy Carbon's 17 by 17 inch seat is tight, or when they want the 20Ah pack for a longer day.
If you want a tighter 24 inch turn and a 17 by 17 inch padded pan, start with the Pride Jazzy Carbon. If you want a chair that takes apart instead of folding, see the Pride Go Chair.
- A 33 lb carbon fibre fold (Pride's published weight without the battery)
- An 18 by 18 inch mesh seat with a removable cushion
- A 10Ah pack Pride describes as airline-compliant, or a 20Ah pack for more range
Design and build
Pride builds an all-carbon fibre frame with two-motor rear-wheel drive. Drive wheels are 10.71 inch flat-free. Casters are 8 inch flat-free on suspension caster forks. Ground clearance is 2.17 inches at the motor. Brakes are Pride's intelligent electronic regenerative system plus a disc park brake. Rear lights come on when the chair is moving. A mesh cup holder is standard.
The seat is 18 by 18 inches: mesh back, mesh seat, removable cushion. The programmable joystick mounts on either armrest. Pride's owner manual says to take the cushion off before you fold. Stand at the rear, step on the fold lock, fold the back, and the chair locks flat. Unfold by lifting the back until it locks, then unfold the footrest.
Pride's Jazzy Travel Bag is an optional wrap for the folded chair. An optional headrest and attendant-control bracket sit on Pride's Ultra Light accessories list.
Pride Jazzy Ultra Light specifications
These figures are for Westin SKU JZULIGHTMS1001, Pride models JZULIGHTMS-10AH and JZULIGHTMS-20AH, as printed on spec sheet INFINFB4670 / Rev B / December 2024. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Pride lists a 300 lb capacity, up to 3.69 mph (5.94 km/h), a 33.19 inch (843 mm) turning radius, overall length 40.91 inches, and overall width 24.49 inches. Seat is 18 by 18 inches. Complete assembly without battery box, cushion, and cupholder is 32.6 lbs on the spec sheet. Pride's brochure and product page round the no-battery figure to 33 lbs. The 10Ah battery box is 4.96 lbs. The 20Ah battery box is 7.4 lbs.
Range on that spec sheet:
- 10Ah: up to 8 miles (12.9 km) at 200 lbs; up to 7 miles (11.3 km) at 300 lbs
- 20Ah: up to 16.4 miles (26.3 km) at 200 lbs; up to 14.4 miles (23.1 km) at 300 lbs
Do not mix these numbers with the Jazzy Carbon (24 inch turn, 12Ah 288Wh, 17 by 17 seat). The Carbon's 9.3 mile figure is a different pack and a different chair.
Warranty for the original purchaser is Pride's 5-year limited term on the main frame, 2 years on electronics in Canada (13 months in the US insert), 13 months on the drivetrain, and 13 months on the battery. Wear items such as tires, upholstery, and shrouds sit outside that term.
Battery and accessory options
Use Choose Batteery to pick the 10Ah or 20Ah 25.2V lithium-ion pack. Pride describes only the 10Ah pack as airline-compliant. The 20Ah pack is the longer-range option at 200 lbs.
Use Choose Accessories for the Jazzy Travel Bag Kit, a battery bag, a pair of arm pads, or the attendant headrest kit. Pride's own Ultra Light accessories page lists the travel bag, an extra battery, the headrest and attendant control, and padded armrests.
Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every chair qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this power wheelchair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, unfold it, fit the battery box, and show you the joystick, the fold lock, and the charger before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This power wheelchair folds for a car trunk. If it is going outside the GTA, ask us for a shipping quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride's Ultra Light spec table and warranty page print a 5-year limited term on the frame and 13-month terms on the drivetrain, electronics, and battery for the original purchaser. Pride's July 2024 standard power insert lengthens the electronics term to 2 years in Canada. The insert does not cover shrouds, motor brushes, upholstery, brake pads, tires, tubes, or fuses, and it does not cover labour unless Pride authorizes it in advance. Gradual battery wear from storage, cold, or heavy use is outside the battery term. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
How far will the Jazzy Ultra Light go on one charge?
Pride's December 2024 spec sheet prints 8 miles (12.9 km) at 200 lbs and 7 miles (11.3 km) at 300 lbs on the 10Ah pack, and 16.4 miles (26.3 km) at 200 lbs and 14.4 miles (23.1 km) at 300 lbs on the 20Ah pack. Pride's footnotes say those figures can move. Plan the shorter number if the person is near 300 lbs or the route is not flat.
What battery and charger does it use?
Pride offers a 10Ah, 25.2V lithium-ion box or a 20Ah, 25.2V lithium-ion box, charged off-board. The spec sheet weighs the boxes at 4.96 lbs and 7.4 lbs. Charge with the charger Pride supplies. Do not mix these boxes with the Carbon's 24V 12Ah 288Wh pack.
Does it fold, or does it come apart?
It folds. Pride says it folds nearly flat in seconds and locks. The owner manual tells you to remove the cushion first, step on the rear fold lock, and fold the back. It does not split into a Go Chair-style stack of pieces.
What is the indoor turning radius?
Pride lists 33.19 inches (843 mm). Overall width is 24.49 inches. That is a wider turn than the Jazzy Carbon's 24 inches. Measure doorways and hallways against 33 inches, not against the Carbon figure.
Who drives the Jazzy Ultra Light?
The person in the seat, using the programmable joystick on the left or right armrest. An optional attendant headrest kit adds helper control if you order it.
What is the weight capacity?
Pride lists 300 lbs (136 kg). Stay at or under that rating. The spec sheet also notes Class of Use A is achieved with the 20Ah batteries.
Will it fit in a car trunk?
Pride says the folded chair is light enough for a car trunk and names airport terminals and trunks in the product copy. We can show you the fold at delivery.
Can it go on a plane?
Pride describes only the 10Ah lithium pack as airline-compliant and still says transport on a commercial aircraft is subject to federal regulations and airline policy. Consult the airline before the flight. The 20Ah pack does not carry that Pride airline note.
What is the warranty?
Pride prints 5 years on the frame and 13 months on drivetrain, electronics, and battery. In Canada the standard insert makes electronics 2 years. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
Can funding help with this chair in Ontario?
Some Ontario routes can help with mobility equipment. Eligibility depends on the person's situation and assessment. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
Can I rent a power wheelchair before I buy?
Westin Healthcare rents some power wheelchairs. The live rental page is a different chair. Ask us whether a Jazzy Ultra Light can go out as a rental for your dates. Purchased chairs are delivered on a scheduled date.
