Description
The WeCare is Joerns Healthcare's split-frame full-electric super-low hospital bed. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The frame comes apart into a head section and a foot section for a tight stair or a small room.
Joerns' WeCare spec (6180193 RevC) prints WECC-WECARE-RIL and WECC-WECARE-RAH as the 8 to 28 in full-electric codes. Safe working load is 450 lb. Maximum patient weight is 400 lb. Sleep surface is 35 x 80 in. Product weight is 145 lb (77.7 lb foot, 67.3 lb head). Under-bed clearance is 18 in. The 2026 list also has WECCBED-RIL and WECCBED-RAH as single-box parcel SKUs. The spec says the bed can ship palleted or by parcel carrier.

This bed is for a person who needs a hospital-style bed at home and wants a Joerns split-frame that comes in two lighter pieces, with electric back, knee, AutoContour, and height from one pendant.

Roll-in-low or roll-at-any-height
WECC-WECARE-RIL and WECCBED-RIL are the roll-in-low bed. They share the same cost and sell price. WECCBED-RIL is the single-box parcel code. WECCBED-RAH is the roll-at-any-height single-box code. Joerns also lists a WeCare Base revision at 8.75 to 26 in. That is a different factory code, not these SKUs.

Joerns assist devices sourced for WeCare include F14SCAL and F168AL (F168AL needs N832AL). A mattress is ordered separately.
Funding help for a hospital bed in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds. The provincial ADP page lists hospital beds and mattresses under equipment it does not cover. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada can help some low-income applicants. Veterans Affairs Canada, WSIB, ODSP discretionary benefits, and private insurance are the other common routes. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week. How to buy, delivery and setup
The price is the frame you pick. HST is extra. Rails, a mattress, and panels are added when you order unless the page says they ship with that SKU. Westin's own team delivers and sets up across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the pendant before we leave.
You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you would rather see a bed first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery belongs to our hospital bed rental service. Purchased beds are delivered on a scheduled date.
Hospital beds are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the bed is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the bed needs work, you call the shop that set it up. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Joerns' WeCare spec covers mechanical and electrical parts for 1 year, the structure for 7 years, and welds for the lifetime of the product, for the original purchaser.

Does ADP cover the WeCare?
No. Ontario ADP does not fund hospital beds. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. See funding.
What is the weight capacity?
Joerns prints a 450 lb safe working load and a 400 lb maximum patient weight. Stay at or under both.
What does single box mean?
Joerns prints that the WeCare can ship palleted or by parcel carrier. WECCBED-RIL and WECCBED-RAH are the 2026 single-box SKUs. Ask us which carton we will receive for your date.
