Description
The Pride Zero Turn 8 is a compact 4 wheel mobility scooter with iTurn dual motors, so it turns in 37.25 in (95 cm) while keeping four wheels on the floor. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets it up across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Discontinued: Pride has discontinued the Zero Turn 8 and it is no longer sold new. For a stable 4-wheel scooter with a tight turning circle, look at the Pride Victory 10.2 4-Wheel or the compact Go-Go Elite Traveller 2 with iTurn. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will match you to the right current scooter.
Pride rates the Zero Turn 8 at 325 lbs (147 kg), up to 5.9 mph (9.5 km/h), and up to 13.1 miles (21.1 km) at 200 lb or 11 miles (17.7 km) at 325 lb. Feather-touch disassembly splits it into five pieces. The heaviest piece is 48 lbs (22 kg).
Who this scooter is for
This scooter is for a person who wants 4-wheel stability indoors and a tight turn in hallways, elevators, and store aisles, and who can lift a 48 lb rear section into a car. Families usually call us when a conventional 4-wheel feels too wide to turn at home.
If you want a larger iTurn platform with a 400 lb rating, see the Pride Zero Turn 10. If you want a conventional mid-size 4-wheel without iTurn, start with the Pride Victory 10.2 4-Wheel. The Zero Turn 8 is not an all-terrain scooter and it is not a 350 lb heavy-duty outdoor platform.
- 325 lb (147 kg) rating
- 37.25 in turning radius
- 45.75 in long, 20.75 in wide, 48 lb heaviest piece
Range, speed, and batteries
Pride prints up to 5.9 mph (9.5 km/h). Range is up to 13.1 miles (21.1 km) at 200 lb and up to 11 miles (17.7 km) at 325 lb. Those 200 lb figures are a test weight, not a second capacity. Real range is shorter on hills, carpet, and cold days.
The pack is two 12-volt 22 Ah batteries in a 32 lb box. The charger is 3.5 amp off-board on the tiller. Charge until the meter shows full, usually overnight. Lead-acid packs wear with charge cycles; Pride does not print a cycle count here.
Portability and transport
Pride's feather-touch frame splits the Zero Turn 8 into five pieces. The heaviest piece is the 48 lb (22 kg) rear section. Weight without batteries is 120 lbs (54 kg). Weight with batteries is 152 lbs (69 kg).
That is a car-trunk story for two people who can lift 48 lbs, not an airline-cabin story. Sealed 22 Ah packs can travel as a mobility aid only when the airline agrees in advance. Ask the airline before you book. It is not a folding carbon travel scooter.
Pride Zero Turn 8 specifications
These figures are for the Zero Turn 8 4-wheel (Jazzy Zero Turn) as Pride prints them. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Weight capacity 325 lbs (147 kg). Top speed up to 5.9 mph (9.5 km/h). Range up to 13.1 miles (21.1 km) at 200 lb and 11 miles (17.7 km) at 325 lb. Turning radius 37.25 in (95 cm). Overall length 45.75 in (116 cm). Overall width 20.75 in (53 cm). Ground clearance 1.3 in (3.3 cm) at the motor and 3.5 in (8.9 cm) at the side deck. Tires 7 in solid front and 9 in solid rear. CTS front and rear. Dual rear motors. Seat 17 in by 17 in foldable vinyl, 27 lbs. Seat-to-ground 22 to 23.5 in. Maximum rated slope 6 degrees (10.5%). Charger 3.5 amp off-board. Heaviest piece 48 lbs (22 kg).
Colour and accessories
Use Colors to pick one of the six interchangeable shrouds: Pearl White, Sapphire Blue, Pewter, Fire Opal, Onyx Black, or Green Moonstone. Pride notes that Green Moonstone can read silver-green in some light.
Accessories and Cane/Crutch Holder add a basket, flag, cover, or holder after the scooter itself is chosen. A spare 22 Ah battery box is an extra pack, not a second capacity.
Zero Turn or a conventional 4-wheel scooter
A conventional 4-wheel scooter such as the Pride Victory 10.2 4-Wheel turns on a larger radius and keeps a simpler single-motor rear drive. The Pride Zero Turn 8 uses iTurn dual motors so the rear wheels can turn against each other. You keep four-wheel stability and a 37.25 in turn. Choose Zero Turn when indoor aisles matter. Choose a conventional 4-wheel when you want a simpler outdoor mid-size platform and you do not need that tight turn.
The Pride Zero Turn 10 is the larger iTurn sibling: 400 lbs, 43 in turn, 40 Ah batteries. Pride no longer lists the Zero Turn 10 as a current US model, so ask us what is in stock.
Funding help for a mobility scooter in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a mobility scooter when the need is long-term and the scooter is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every scooter qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this scooter across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the tiller, charger, and lights before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a Pride Zero Turn 8 first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased scooters are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This mobility scooter is oversized compared with small parcels. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the scooter is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the scooter needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride Canada's scooter warranty insert is lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics, 2 years on drivetrain, and 13 months on batteries from the battery manufacturer. Wear items such as tires, shrouds, and upholstery sit outside that term. We handle the claim with you.
Frequently asked questions
How far can a mobility scooter go?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 travels up to 13.1 miles (21.1 km) at 200 lb and up to 11 miles (17.7 km) at 325 lb on Pride's spec table. Hills, carpet, and cold weather shorten that figure.
How long to charge a mobility scooter?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 uses a 3.5 amp off-board charger on the tiller. Leave it on charge until the meter shows full, usually overnight.
Does ADP cover scooters?
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can help with a power scooter after an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist assesses the person. Westin Healthcare walks you through that route. We cannot promise that a specific person will qualify.
Can I take a mobility scooter on a plane?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 can come apart for a car, but it is not an airline cabin scooter. Sealed 22 Ah batteries may travel as a mobility aid only when the airline agrees in advance. Ask the airline before you book.
Can I use a mobility scooter in the rain?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 is not waterproof. Pride's consumer safety guide tells riders to avoid rain, snow, ice, and standing water. Store it inside.
Zero turn vs 4 wheel scooter?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 is a 4-wheel scooter with iTurn dual motors, so it turns in 37.25 in. A conventional 4-wheel scooter keeps a simpler rear drive and a larger turn. Both have four wheels. The difference is how they turn.
3 wheel vs 4 wheel scooter?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 is a 4-wheel scooter that aims at a 3-wheel turning radius. A true 3-wheel scooter has one front tire and a still-tighter turn on some models, with less static stability. Choose four wheels when you want that extra contact patch indoors and out.
What is the turning radius of a 4 wheel scooter?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 has a 37.25 in (95 cm) turning radius on Pride's spec table. That is the tight figure that makes this 4 wheel mobility scooter work in hallways.
What is the weight capacity?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 is rated at 325 lbs (147 kg). The 200 lb figure Pride prints is a range-test weight, not a second capacity.
Will it fit through a doorway?
The Pride Zero Turn 8 is 20.75 in (53 cm) wide on Pride's spec table. Measure the narrowest doorway, including the frame. The 37.25 in turn is what clears most home halls.
What is the warranty?
Pride Canada's scooter insert for the Zero Turn 8 is lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics and drivetrain, and 13 months on batteries. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
