Description

The JAY Pelvic Positioning Belts line is Sunrise Medical's wheelchair pelvic-belt family for Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Sunrise writes it for a stable, aligned pelvis so the rest of the body can work. Three styles sit on one card: 2-point, 4-point, and V-contour. This is a quote-only positioning accessory. It is configured with the wheelchair through the ADP assessment, not sold as a last-minute cart extra.

Which chairs this fits

Sunrise does not print a chair-by-chair fit list. These belts attach to the mobility system at two or four points after the therapist sets the seat and back. Confirm the frame attach points with Westin before you order. They are often paired with a JAY cushion and a JAY J3 Back or JAY Anterior Trunk Supports.

  • 2-point for a smaller contact area
  • 4-point for more involved pelvic needs
  • V-contour 4-point with V-shaped pads to spread load

JAY Pelvic Positioning Belts specifications

These figures are from Sunrise Medical's current Canada card. The specification tab holds the stored values. We do not invent a style picker on this page.

Webbing and pad widths printed: 1, 1.5, 2, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 9.5, and 11.5 inches. Those are belt and pad widths, not seat widths. Closures: push-button or side-release buckle. Construction: padded or non-padded. Contact: neoprene and nylon. D-rings sit at the end of each pull.

No owner's manual is linked on the live card. Sunrise notes that Canadian terms can follow provincial funding rules. Ask us for the insert that ships with your order.

Frequently asked questions

Do I Need A 2-Point Or 4-Point Belt?

A JAY 2-point pelvic belt uses two attach points and a smaller contact area. A JAY 4-point or V-contour belt uses four attach points for more involved pelvic needs. A seating therapist names the style.

Are The Printed Widths Seat Widths?

No. The widths on the JAY Pelvic Positioning Belts card are webbing and pad widths, not wheelchair seat widths.

Will This Fit My Wheelchair?

JAY pelvic belts attach to the mobility system at two or four points. Sunrise does not print a model-by-model chair list. Westin checks the frame before we order.

Is This Ordered Through ADP?

JAY Pelvic Positioning Belts are configured with the wheelchair through the ADP assessment when the person qualifies. Talk to us before you buy. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page.

What Buckles Are Offered?

The JAY Pelvic Positioning Belts card prints push-button and side-release buckles. D-rings help with limited dexterity.

Can I See One In Brampton?

Westin Healthcare can show JAY positioning in the Brampton and Toronto stores and deliver across the GTA. Call (905) 451-7743.
