Description
The JAY Hand and Arm Supports line is Sunrise Medical's upper-extremity support family for Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It includes arm troughs and padded wrist straps. Sunrise writes both for upper-body posture and head control. Trough depths on the current card are 14, 18, and 22 inches (36, 46, and 56 cm). This is a quote-only positioning accessory. It is configured with the wheelchair through the ADP assessment, not sold as a last-minute cart extra.
Which chairs this fits
Sunrise does not print a chair-by-chair fit list. Arm troughs mount on a wheelchair arm support after the therapist sets the trunk. Wrist straps position the wrist on the trough or tray. Confirm the arm-pad hardware with Westin before you order. These are often paired with a tilt chair and a JAY back such as the JAY J3 Back.
- Arm troughs in 14, 18, and 22 inch depths
- Padded wrist straps
- Reverse Dartex or neoprene contact surfaces
