Joerns' Full Back manual: an easy-fit contoured sling for about 85-90% of clients, with integrated boned head support and leg padding as standard. Westin Healthcare sells Extra Small through Extra Large in padded polyester. Mesh Full Back is a separate listing because Joerns' net manual prints 600 lb, not 500 lb.

Who this sling is for

This sling is for a person on a Hoyer 6-point loop bar who needs the head panel and padded legs Joerns builds into Full Back. Joerns also describes it as giving full protection when fitted correctly for people who go into extension or have involuntary movements. It is not a sit-to-stand sling and it is not a clip sling.

Size and colour

Joerns colour bands on the sling chart are the sizing source. Recommended weight range is a guideline only. Confirm with a clinician or our staff before the first use.

The padded user manual labels Extra Small as Pediatric (Brown), SKU NA1067. The live template is currently named Medium while it holds that Extra Small SKU. Medium padded is NA1069.

Brochure Full Back dimensions (XS to XL): A 31.9, 38.6, 45.5, 53.5, 66.5 in. B 20.5, 20.9, 25.2, 28.3, 30 in. C 40.6, 41.7, 46.9, 52.8, 64.2 in. D 13, 14.6, 16.5, 17.3, 17.7 in.

Bar and lift

Loop, 6-point. Joerns chart names Advance, Elara, HPL450, HPL500, HPL700, Presence and Stature. Advance 340 lb. The lower rating governs. Do not hang this sling on a Drive bar.

Full Back Padded specifications

Joerns Full Back user manual: 500 lb / 227 kg. EN ISO 10535. Wash 185 F / 85 C, no bleach. Pro warranty 12 months. The October 2025 brochure prints 600 lb on the Full Back module. Copy uses the padded user manual.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the sling in the size you pick. HST is extra. There is no lift in the box. Westin can ship the sling on its own, or send it with a Hoyer lift on a scheduled GTA delivery.

You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see a sling on a bar first. Call (905) 451-7743 to book. Same-day delivery is offered through our patient lift rental service when a lift and sling go out together. Purchased slings ship on a scheduled date.

This sling is a small parcel. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods can apply when it ships on its own. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund slings, patient lifts, hospital beds or mattresses. ADP purchase funding, at 75% of the approved price, is for manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating, and wheeled walkers for adults. OHIP does not reimburse a sling purchase.

If money is the barrier, start with Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada for low-income applicants. Toronto's Hardship Fund names lifts and slings on its published list. Care, cleaning and warranty

Joerns: machine wash warm, do not exceed 185 F / 85 C. Do not wash with bleach. Cool tumble dry, air dry, or dry at very low temperature. Do not dry clean. Inspect stitching and fabric before every use. Destroy and discard a bleached, torn, cut, frayed or broken sling. Do not alter slings.

When something needs work, you call the shop that sold it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.

Joerns Hoyer manufacturer warranty

Joerns' 2025 Hoyer sling warranty covers Pro slings for 12 months from purchase by the original owner. Wear from regular use sits outside that term. We handle the claim with you.

Padded or mesh

The padded fabric is the warmer, softer option for everyday use. The mesh fabric drains and dries faster, so it suits bathing and shower transfer. Both carry the same 500 lb safe working load and the same size set; mesh bariatric sizes are rated 850 lb where Joerns prints that rating.
