If you need a 330 lb rating and less lift, start with the Golden Ally or the Golden Ally Pro. The Ally Sport is not a Compass Sport, and it is not a Cricket.

Range, speed, and batteries
The Golden Ally Sport travels up to 9.5 miles (15.3 km) per charge on the standard 10 AH lithium-ion pack. Golden's footnote says range changes with rider weight, drive surface, terrain, and battery type, and the printed figure is at 200 lbs.
Top speed is up to 4 mph (6.4 km/h). The charger is off-board. The controller is a 40 Amp remote unit. Golden weighs that pack at 5 lbs (2.3 kg).
Portability and transport
Golden power-folds the Ally Sport. Assembled weight is 92 lbs (41.7 kg). The heaviest piece is 87.5 lbs (39.7 kg). Rear wheels are 10 inch pneumatic. Front casters are 10 inch omni-directional with a self-cleaning V-groove. Dual front suspension is standard. This is the heaviest Ally, even though it power-folds.
Golden prints the 10 AH lithium pack as airline-friendly and still leaves the flight to the airline. Consult the airline before you fly. Golden does not print a watt-hour figure on this sell sheet, so we do not invent one. The Smart Control app and the optional wireless remote are for parking, positioning, and the power fold, not a substitute for the person in the seat on the road.

The Ally Sport is Golden's 265 lb, 4 mph, 9.5 mile power-folding luxury chair at 92 lbs assembled. The Ally is the 330 lb, 56 lb manual-fold sister. The Ally Pro is the 330 lb, 75 lb outdoor sister with a 13 mile printed range. They are separate Golden models. Pick Sport for power folding and lighting. Pick Ally for less lift and more capacity. Pick Pro for omni wheels and the longer printed range.
Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Wear items such as tires and shrouds sit outside that term. Gradual battery wear from storage, cold, or heavy use is outside the battery term. We handle the warranty claim with you.
