Description
The Golden Ally Pro is Golden Technologies' GP304 folding travel power wheelchair. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The person drives with the joystick or the Smart Control mobile app.
Golden lists a 330 lb (150 kg) rating, speeds up to 5 mph (8.0 km/h), a 37 inch (94 cm) turning radius, and up to 13 miles (20.9 km) per charge on the 12 AH lithium-ion pack. The assembled chair weighs 75 lbs (34.0 kg). The heaviest piece is 69.6 lbs (31.6 kg).
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who wants a folding travel chair with more outdoor capability than the Ally, stays at or under the 330 lb rating, and can lift a 69.6 lb piece into a van or a larger trunk. Families usually call us when they want 10 inch omni-directional front wheels, front suspension, and a 13 mile printed range.
If you want the lightest 330 lb Ally, start with the Golden Ally. If you want power folding and side lighting, see the Golden Ally Sport (265 lb rating). The Ally Pro is not a Compass HD.
- A 75 lb assembled fold, heaviest piece 69.6 lbs
- 10 inch omni-directional front wheels with a self-cleaning V-groove
- A 12 AH lithium pack Golden prints as airline-friendly, with the airline still to confirm
Range, speed, and batteries
The Golden Ally Pro travels up to 13 miles (20.9 km) per charge on the standard 12 AH lithium-ion pack. Golden's footnote says range changes with rider weight, drive surface, terrain, and battery type, and the printed figure is at 200 lbs.
Top speed is up to 5 mph (8.0 km/h). The charger is off-board. The controller is a 40 Amp remote unit, pre-wired for left or right. Golden weighs that pack at 5 lbs (2.3 kg).
Portability and transport
Golden folds the Ally Pro for compact storage. Assembled weight is 75 lbs (34.0 kg). The heaviest piece is 69.6 lbs (31.6 kg). Rear wheels are 10 inch pneumatic. Front casters are 10 inch omni-directional. Front suspension is standard.
Golden prints the 12 AH lithium pack as airline-friendly and still leaves the flight to the airline. Consult the airline before you fly. Golden does not print a watt-hour figure on this sell sheet, so we do not invent one. The Smart Control app and the optional wireless remote are for parking and positioning, not a substitute for the person in the seat on the road.

Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every chair qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this power wheelchair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, unfold it, and show you the joystick, the fold, the app pairing if you want it, and the charger before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This power wheelchair folds for a car trunk. If it is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Golden manufacturer warranty
Golden Canada's Ally Pro sell sheet prints 5 years on the frame, 13 months on the drive train, 13 months on electronics, and 12 months on the batteries for the original purchaser. Wear items such as tires and shrouds sit outside that term. Gradual battery wear from storage, cold, or heavy use is outside the battery term. We handle the warranty claim with you.
