Description
The Pride Go-Go Carbon folding scooter is Pride Mobility's carbon fibre 4-wheel travel scooter. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It folds in seconds and tows like luggage. It is not the discontinued Go-Go Folding Scooter.
Pride's current brochure rates the SC25M at 300 lbs (136 kg), speeds up to 3.7 mph (6.0 km/h), a 53 inch (134.6 cm) turning radius, and up to 10 miles (16.1 km) per charge on a 24 V 12 Ah (288 Wh) lithium battery. The scooter weighs 35 lbs (15.9 kg) without the battery and 39 lbs (17.7 kg) with it.
Who this scooter is for
This scooter is for a person who stays at or under the 300 lb rating, fits Pride's 14 by 11.5 inch seat, and wants a folder light enough to lift as one piece. Families usually call us when a five-piece take-apart scooter is too many lifts, and they want Pride's current carbon fibre travel scooter rather than the older S19 folder.
If you want a take-apart 4-wheel with a larger 17 by 17 inch seat, start with the Pride Go-Go Elite Traveller 2. If you are comparing the older Pride folder, see the Pride Go-Go Folding Scooter. The Carbon is not a Sport, LX, or Ultra X.
- A 35 lb carbon fibre frame that folds and tows like luggage
- A 300 lb rating at 3.7 mph and up to 10 miles
- A 288 Wh lithium pack Pride calls airline-compliant if the airline agrees
Range, speed, and batteries
The Pride Go-Go Carbon travels up to 10 miles (16.1 km) per charge on the 24 V 12 Ah lithium battery. Pride tests that figure at the maximum weight capacity. Pride's footnotes say range changes with rider weight, terrain, battery charge, battery condition, and tire condition, and that the number can move 10 percent either way.
Top speed is up to 3.7 mph (6.0 km/h). The charger is a 24 V 2-amp off-board unit. The battery weighs about 4 lbs. Charge time depends on how empty the pack is. We do not print an hour figure Pride does not print.
Portability and transport
Pride folds the Go-Go Carbon by pulling the handle on the base so the front and back lock together. Pride says it folds in seconds, unfolds the same way, and can be towed like luggage through airports and other buildings. The heaviest piece is the folded scooter without the battery, 35 lbs (15.9 kg). Pride does not print a folded box size on the spec table, so we do not invent one.
Pride's feature list says the Carbon is powered by an airline compliant lithium battery. Pride's own footnote, on the brochure and the lithium page, says transport on commercial aircraft is subject to federal regulations and airline policy, and tells you to consult the airline before the flight to ensure the Go-Go Carbon and its lithium battery are permitted. Pride lists the pack at 288 Wh, under the 300 Wh figure Pride cites from the FAA. Pride still wants the airline asked first. A spare pack, if you carry one, follows Pride's lithium page: one spare not over 300 Wh, or two spares not over 160 Wh each, as carry-on.
Pride Go-Go Carbon specifications
These figures are for Pride model SC25M, the Go-Go Carbon, as printed on Pride's current specification table and the November 2024 brochure. The specification tab holds the stored values. Do not mix these numbers with the discontinued S19 Folding Scooter or with the Jazzy Carbon power chair.

Warranty on Pride's US brochure is lifetime limited on the frame and 1 year on drivetrain, electronics, and the battery. Pride Canada's Carbon card prints lifetime frame, 2 years on electronics, 2 years on drivetrain, and 1 year on lithium-ion batteries. We use the Canada card for a Canadian purchaser.
Go-Go Carbon or Go-Go Folding
The Carbon (SC25M) and the Go-Go Folding Scooter (S19) are different Pride models. The Carbon is the current 300 lb, 35 lb carbon fibre folder with a 288 Wh lithium pack. The Folding Scooter is the discontinued 250 lb, 51 lb conventional folder. If you want a take-apart 4-wheel with a larger seat instead of a folder, see the Elite Traveller 2.
Funding help for a mobility scooter in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a mobility scooter when the need is long-term and the scooter is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every scooter qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this mobility scooter across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, unfold it, and show you the tiller, the NFC ignition, the charger, and the fold before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a folding scooter first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased scooters are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This mobility scooter is larger than small parcel goods. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the scooter is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the scooter needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride Canada's Go-Go Carbon card is lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics, 2 years on the drivetrain, and 1 year on the lithium-ion battery for the original purchaser. Pride's US brochure prints 1 year on electronics, drivetrain, and battery. Wear items such as tires, shrouds, and upholstery sit outside that term. Gradual battery wear from storage, cold, or heavy use is outside the battery term. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
How far can a mobility scooter go?
The Pride Go-Go Carbon travels up to 10 miles (16.1 km) per charge on the 24 V 12 Ah lithium battery, at the 300 lb rating. Pride's footnotes say range changes with weight, terrain, and battery condition. Plan a shorter day than the headline figure if the person is near 300 lbs or the route is not flat.
How long does a mobility scooter take to charge?
The Pride Go-Go Carbon uses Pride's 24 V 2-amp off-board lithium charger. Pride does not print a single hour count. Charge time depends on how empty the 12 Ah pack is. Use the lithium charger Pride supplies.
Can I take a mobility scooter on a plane?
Pride calls the Go-Go Carbon's 288 Wh lithium battery airline-compliant and still says transport on commercial aircraft is subject to federal regulations and airline policy. Consult the airline before the flight to ensure the Go-Go Carbon and its lithium battery are permitted. Pride cites the FAA 300 Wh cabin threshold. Ask the airline how they want the battery protected or carried.
Can I take a folding scooter on a cruise?
Pride says the Go-Go Carbon folds in seconds and can be towed like luggage through airports and other environments. Pride does not print a blanket cruise approval. Ask the cruise line what they allow on board and in the cabin before you book.
Go-Go Folding vs Go-Go Carbon?
The Pride Go-Go Carbon is model SC25M: carbon fibre, 300 lbs, 35 lbs without the battery, 53 inch turn, current. The Go-Go Folding Scooter is model S19: conventional folder, 250 lbs, 51 lbs without batteries, 32 inch turn, discontinued. They are separate Pride scooters.
Will a travel scooter fit in a car?
The Pride Go-Go Carbon folds as one piece and weighs 35 lbs without the battery. Pride designed that fold for car trunks and tight storage. Pride does not print a folded box size on the spec table, so we do not invent one. We can show you the fold at delivery.
How much does a Pride travel scooter weigh?
The Pride Go-Go Carbon weighs 35 lbs (15.9 kg) without the battery and 39 lbs (17.7 kg) with the battery. The battery is about 4 lbs.
What is the weight capacity of a travel scooter?
The Pride Go-Go Carbon is rated at 300 lbs (136 kg). Stay at or under that rating. The seat is 14 by 11.5 inches, smaller than the 17 by 17 inch take-apart Go-Go seats.
What is the turning radius of a 4 wheel scooter?
The Pride Go-Go Carbon turns in 53 inches (134.6 cm). That is wider than Pride's take-apart EZ Turn 4-wheels. The Carbon is built around fold weight, not a tight indoor turn.
Can I use a mobility scooter in the rain?
Pride tells Go-Go riders to find shelter in rain or snow and to avoid large puddles. Water can harm the electronics. If the Pride Go-Go Carbon gets wet, Pride says to dry it, let it sit in a warm dry place for 12 hours, then check the tiller and brakes before you ride again.
Does ADP cover scooters?
Some Ontario routes can help with mobility equipment, including power scooters, when the need is long-term and an assessment supports it. Eligibility depends on the person's situation. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
