Description
The Blake Geo-Matrix G1 Single Zone is a 6 inch Canadian gel and foam hospital mattress with Geo-Matrix gel at the coccyx only. Westin Healthcare sells it, delivers it, and sets it on the bed for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It does not use a pump.
Blake's current G1 Single Zone page says this mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health and that it aids in the healing of stage I-II pressure injuries (redness or superficial skin wounds). A 1 inch gel insert targets the seat. If the heels also need gel, see the G1 Dual Zone. If the whole top should be gel, see the Geo-Matrix G2.
Who this mattress is for
This mattress is for a person who needs a hospital-bed replacement surface and whose main skin-risk area is the seat, not the full body. Blake rates the G1 family for stage I-II care and everyday skin-health maintenance. It suits home care, long-term care, and anyone who wants Geo-Matrix gel without paying for a full gel top.
Families usually call us when a foam mattress is reddening the coccyx, when the person sits up in bed a lot, or when a therapist wants a single gel zone first. If the heels are already a concern, do not stay on the Single Zone; step to the Dual Zone or the G2.
- Home care on a 36 inch hospital bed such as the Drive Delta 1000
- Custom widths through 60 inches when the deck matches
- Users within Blake's 300 lb standard rating, or the 500 lb custom build when we order it that way
Construction and how it works
The G1 Single Zone is a hybrid gel mattress. Blake's current page describes a dual-density polyurethane foam base, a 5 lb memory foam core, a firm foam perimeter, and Blue Mattress gel in the coccyx. The cover is 4-way stretch, antimicrobial, fluid-proof, and wipeable, with a nylon quilting layer.
The gel insert is a dry-polymer sheet, not a liquid pouch. It load-shares under the seat. The rest of the body lies on memory foam and the foam base. There is no pump.
Blake Geo-Matrix G1 Single Zone specifications
These figures are for Westin SKU G1MFS3680 and the matching G1MFS width codes. The specification tab holds the stored values. Blake's current G1 Single Zone page lists a 6 inch height, product code G1MFS(+size), a 300 lb / 136 kg standard capacity, a 500 lb / 227 kg custom capacity, and a warranty of 5 years on the mattress and 1 year on the cover.
Standard size is 36 by 80 inches. Blake names custom widths of 39, 42, 54, and 60 inches and says any other custom size can be ordered through the office. We also offer 48 by 80 inches on this page.
Size and extra cover options
This product has two size selectors that describe the same six footprints. Use Size or Choose Mattress Size. Every option is 80 inches long and 6 inches high:
- 36" x 80" x 6" (G1MFS3680)
- 39" x 80" x 6" Custom (G1MFS3980)
- 42" x 80" x 6" Custom (G1MFS4280)

A 36 inch G1 fits the Drive Delta 1000. A 42 inch G1 is the match for the Drive 15300LW 42-inch bariatric bed. A replacement cover (Blake G1SRC series) is sold separately and must match the width; call us to add one.
Funding help for a therapeutic mattress in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not cover hospital beds or mattresses, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: ODSP, March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), hardship funding programs, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this mattress across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, place it on the bed, and show you the cover and the firm borders before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a mattress first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased mattresses are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Hospital mattresses are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the mattress is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
