Construction and how it works

This is a mattress replacement. Eighteen 28-inch by 5-inch denier-covered polyurethane cells sit in a foam crib. The crib makes 3.5-inch side transfer borders and 1-inch foam at the head and foot. The crib is covered in disinfectable nylon. A Recovery 5 quilted cover is breathable, fluid-proof, and anti-microbial.

The pump runs a 2-in-1 alternating cycle every 10 minutes. Eight comfort levels sit on the panel. A low-pressure alarm sounds if the cells drop below the default setup. Blake says the surface stays inflated for up to 24 hours if the power fails. Blake describes the pump as quiet enough for sleep.
