EZ-Access Transitions Angled Entry Plate

The EZ-Access Transitions Angled Entry Plate is a one-piece formed aluminum threshold plate. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Official SKUs are TAEP 08, TAEP 10, and TAEP 12. It is not the Transitions Angled Entry Ramp and it is not the rubber Angled Entry Mat.

EZ-ACCESS rates every size at 700 lb (318 kg). The plate is 32 in (81 cm) wide. Usable height runs up to 1.312 in on the 8 in plate, 1.625 in on the 10 in plate, and 2 in on the 12 in plate. Use Select Plate Size for 8-in, 10-in, or 12-in.

Who this plate is for

This threshold plate is for a low, fairly even sill that needs a smooth lip, not adjustable legs. Families usually call us when a doorway has a short rise, when they want a plate they can set down with no assembly, or when the Angled Entry Ramp is more ramp than they need.

Surface and setup

The Angled Entry Plate is high-strength formed aluminum with a black applied slip-resistant tread. It will not rust or corrode. There is no assembly. Set the plate on the sill. Choosing a size

Use Select Plate Size for Angled Entry Plate 8-in, 10-in, or 12-in. Pick the length whose usable height covers the rise you measured. If the sill is uneven or taller than 2 in, switch to the Angled Entry Ramp.

Plate, ramp, or modular threshold

This plate is a formed lip with applied tread and no legs. The Angled Entry Ramp is a 36 in wide aluminum ramp with adjustable swivel feet for higher or uneven sills. The Modular Entry Ramp is the hooked-section TMER kit. A suitcase or trifold ramp is for a step or a vehicle, not a doorway plate.
