Description
The Drive 16005 overbed table in this configuration is Drive's 16005-UCDM: a non-tilt premium U-base table with a figured-mahogany high-pressure laminate top, a chrome U-base, pneumatic height from 27 to 42 inches (69 to 107 cm), and a 100 lb (45 kg) rating. Westin Healthcare sells this configuration, confirms the lead time (Drive ships the family as a special order), and delivers it in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Dual cup holders, a raised urethane lip, and left- or right-hand column mounting are part of the 16005 family. The U-base is the open shape that rolls around a chair. Drive does not name a lift-chair model. Drive names wheelchair use on the 13000 card, not on this one.
Which beds and chairs this fits
This overbed table works with any bed, including the Drive Delta 1000, the Drive Prime Plus P750, and the Drive PrimeCare P903. Drive does not limit the 16005 family to one frame. The U-base is why this table sits next to both homecare and long-term-care beds, and why it is the clinical chair-side shape in this family.
On a floor-low deck the 27 inch (69 cm) minimum can sit higher than the mattress. That is still a fit. The 100 lb (45 kg) rating is the load on the tabletop, not the person's body weight. Drive does not publish a lift-chair list. The open U is the base that rolls around a seated person. It is not a Golden-branded lift-chair tray.
Drive 16005-UCDM specifications
These figures are for Drive 16005-UCDM, the U-base, chrome, figured-mahogany, no-vanity SKU. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Pneumatic height 27 to 42 inches (69 to 107 cm). Weight capacity 100 lb (45 kg). Drive-printed size 18 by 32 inches. Product weight 51 lb (23 kg). Carton 55 lb. High-pressure laminate with a raised urethane lip. Dual removable cup holders with flexible grip tabs and a small storage gap between them. Dual hand grips and 2 inch casters. The column can mount on the left or the right. Limited Lifetime. Drive lists the whole 16005 family as drop-ship / special order. Westin will confirm the lead time when you order. Extra laminate colours, opal powder coat, and more column colours exist at Drive. Ask us if you want one of those as a special order.
Frame style and vanity options
Use Frame Style to pick U Style or H Style. Use the Vanity Option values for with or without Drive's dual-mirror vanity drawer. The configuration we stock is 16005-UCDM: U Style without vanity, figured mahogany, chrome.
- Frame Style, U Style: the open U-base (16005-UCDM without vanity, 16005-UCDMV with vanity).
- Frame Style, H Style: the same pneumatic top on Drive's H-base card (16005-HCDM without vanity, 16005-HCDMV with vanity).
- Vanity Option, Without Vanity: the standard top on 16005-UCDM.
- Vanity Option, With Vanity: Drive's optional dual-mirror vanity drawer (16005-UCDMV on the U-base).
Choose the combination that matches the room. If you want a different laminate than figured mahogany, call (905) 451-7743 and we will check Drive's special-order list.
U-base or H-base, tilt or non-tilt
U-base (this 16005-UCDM) is the open shape for a chair or wheelchair. H-base is the classic two-leg hospital table. Height, capacity, and the laminate top stay the same when you switch Frame Style. Use H Style if the table will live beside a bed and you want the closed H.
16005 is non-tilt. The top stays level for a meal or a laptop. A 33-degree tilting top is the Drive 13008. A mast that pivots in three locks and then folds is the Drive 13000, which is also a U-base and the only Drive table that names wheelchair use. The homecare non-tilt H-base is the Drive 13067.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this table across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the pneumatic lift before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a table first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased tables are delivered and set up on a scheduled date. Because Drive ships 16005 as a special order, we confirm the lead time before we book that date.
If the table is going outside the GTA, ask us for a shipping quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When the pneumatic column or a caster needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive's spec sheet for the 16005 family prints a limited lifetime warranty. For the original purchaser, Drive warrants the product free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. That warranty does not cover owner misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to non-durable parts such as casters and grips. We handle the claim with you.
Frequently asked questions
What Is 16005-UCDM?
The Drive 16005 overbed table in 16005-UCDM is figured mahogany on a chrome U-base, without a vanity drawer. It is the clinical 100 lb (45 kg), pneumatic 27-42 inch table, not the homecare 13067.
Which Beds Does It Fit?
The Drive 16005 overbed table fits any bed. Families use it beside a Delta 1000 at home. Care homes put it beside a Prime Plus P750 or a PrimeCare P903. The U-base also rolls around a chair.
U-Base or H-Base?
The Drive 16005 overbed table U-base is the open shape for a chair or wheelchair. H-base is the classic two-leg hospital table. Height, capacity, and the laminate top stay the same. Use Frame Style if you want the H-base mahogany SKU.
Will the U-Base Fit a Lift Chair?
The Drive 16005 overbed table U-base is the chair-side shape. Drive does not name a Golden or Pride lift-chair model. The open U rolls around a seated person. Drive's wheelchair sentence lives on the 13000 card, not on 16005.
What Is the Weight Rating?
The Drive 16005 overbed table is rated 100 lb (45 kg). That is twice the homecare 13067 and still a tabletop rating, not a patient rating. It is a surface for meals, a laptop, or care supplies, not a stand.
Do I Need the Vanity Drawer?
The Drive 16005 overbed table vanity is Drive's dual-mirror drawer under the top. The configuration we stock is without vanity. Choose With Vanity if you want 16005-UCDMV.
How Do I Change the Height?
The Drive 16005 overbed table uses a pneumatic cylinder with infinite stops from 27 to 42 inches (69 to 107 cm). Use the lift the way the sheet in the carton shows. Westin will walk through it on delivery. The column can mount on the left or the right.
What Is the Warranty?
The Drive 16005 overbed table carries a limited lifetime term for the original purchaser on defects in materials and workmanship. Casters and grips are wear parts. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
