The Drive 13262 is a solid nylon divided-leg sling with a headrest. Westin Healthcare sells Medium (13262M) and Large (13262L) in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. This is a loop sling for Drive floor lifts. Catalog reprints used with Drive's sheet print a 450 lb capacity.

Who this sling is for

This sling is for a person who needs a split-leg transfer on a Drive floor lift, with head support. The divided legs make bed-to-chair and chair-to-commode work easier than a closed full-body sheet. It is not a sit-to-stand sling. It is not a Hoyer clip sling.

Sizing

Drive's current 13262 sheet names Medium and Large. It does not print a pounds-per-size table. Drive's sling selection guide is a weight and height chart. Use that chart only as a guide. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before the first use.

Both sizes share the 450 lb catalog capacity. The lift working load still wins if it is lower.

Attachment and compatible lifts

This is a loop sling. Drive's official photo shows sewn loop straps and a headrest. Drive Levantar and Gravis lifts catch those loops in a six-point cradle with spring clips.

Drive manuals for Levantar, Gravis, and 13244 say Drive slings only. Do not hang 13262 on a Hoyer Advance.

These figures are for Westin SKU 13262L (Large) and the Medium picker 13262M. Drive's current shop sheet prints those two item numbers and shows solid nylon with a headrest. Catalog reprints print 450 lb, about 2 lb sling weight, blue, and 4 or 6 cradle points. UPC 822383231631 (Large) and 822383231624 (Medium).

Care and laundering

Inspect the nylon, headrest, leg pieces, and loops before every lift. Do not use the sling if straps or seams are worn. Drive's current 13262 sheet does not print a wash temperature. Follow the care label sewn on the sling.

No. Joerns requires Hoyer slings on a Hoyer Advance. This is a Drive sling.

No. 13262 is a solid divided-leg sling with a headrest. 13221 is a full mesh sheet with a commode hole.

Do I need extra straps?

Not for this family as Drive sells it. Drive 13232 is a spare strap set, not part of 13262.
