What you get
You get the Classic piece you select. The shell, doors, and drawer fronts are thermofused laminate. Edges use PVC banding with a heat- and moisture-resistant PUR adhesive. Door and drawer fronts are full overlay. Drawers have an interlock, a positive stop, and 12 in slides. Doors use hidden European-style hinges. The toe kick is one piece to the floor. Levelers sit on all four corners.
Colour, pull style, locks, an ADA wardrobe lift, a USB-A flush mount, anti-ligature hardware, and metal legs are quoted with the room. Headboards, footboards, and an overbed table are quoted separately.

Both nightstands are 21 in wide, 18 in deep, and 30 in high. The 3-drawer chest is 30 by 20 by 30 in. The 4-drawer chest is 30 by 20 by 39 in. The 6-drawer chest is 42 by 20 by 30 in. Both wardrobes are 36 in wide, 22 in deep, and 76 in high. Drawer slides are 12 in. Drawer capacity is 100 lb (45 kg). Span lists a 5-year warranty.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up these case goods across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring the pieces in, place them in the room, and level them before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a finish sample first. For a scheduled in-room setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Purchased case goods are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Wardrobes and chests are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the furniture is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
Which rooms and Span beds this furniture fits
Classic is built for resident rooms in long-term care and assisted living. Span writes that the case goods can coordinate with Span bed headboards and footboards. Classic TFL boards (Kent, Lincoln, and Standard) are quoted with the bed, in widths that match the deck you already run.
We already sell the Span America Encore and the Span America Advantage. We also stock the Span America ReadyWide. Ask us to match Classic pieces and Classic TFL boards to the bed in the room. An overbed table is a separate Span article and is quoted with the furniture package. See all hospital beds if the room still needs a frame.
Service, repairs, and warranty

Span lists a 5-year warranty on the Classic Collection for the original purchaser. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.

What is the Span America Classic Collection?

What is thermofused laminate (TFL)?
TFL is a finished panel. Decorative paper infused with melamine resin is fused to the board under heat and pressure. Span uses it on Classic shells, doors, and drawer fronts so the surface stays consistent and easy to wipe.
How is Classic different from Prestige?
Classic is TFL. Prestige is 3D laminate wrapped over a shaped core, with Elegance, Lethbridge, and Trenton profiles. If the specification names 3DL or those profile names, ask us for Prestige. This page is Classic only.
What pieces can I order?
Seven pieces: a 1-door / 1-drawer nightstand, a 3-drawer nightstand, a 3-drawer chest, a 4-drawer chest, a 6-drawer chest, a 2-door wardrobe, and a 2-door / 2-drawer wardrobe. The default is the 1-door / 1-drawer nightstand (CL-61).
What finishes and hardware can I get?
Fifteen standard colours and five pull styles (Bar, Archway, Designer, Zachary, Hadley) in brushed nickel. Custom colours are quoted. Tell us the finish on the bed boards in the room and we will match it.
Is Classic STURDY Act compliant?
Yes. Span states the Classic Collection is fully compliant with STURDY Act 2023 tip-over standards for freestanding clothing storage.
What is the drawer weight rating?
Span lists up to 100 lb (45 kg) per drawer, with an interlock and a positive stop. The 2-door wardrobe with no drawers has no drawer rating.
Do these pieces work with the Span beds you already sell?
Yes. Span writes that Classic case goods can coordinate with Span headboards and footboards. We already sell the Span America Encore and the Span America Advantage, and we stock ReadyWide. Ask us to quote matching Classic TFL boards with the bed.
Can I add locks, USB, or an ADA wardrobe lift?
Yes. Locks with individual keys and master-key access, a USB-A flush mount, an ADA wardrobe lift, anti-ligature hardware, and metal legs are quoted with the piece. Metal legs are a Classic option.
How do I clean Classic case goods?
Span asks for a mild soap and water on a soft cloth. Do not spray cleaner onto the panel. Avoid abrasives, ammonia, acetone, acids, and solvent cleaners. Diluted bleach (20 ml bleach to 1 litre of water) is Span's disinfecting mix after the surface is already clean.
What is included with a Classic quote?
You get the Classic piece you select, in the finish and hardware we lock on the quote. Headboards, footboards, an overbed table, and a bed are quoted separately. Westin Healthcare delivers and levels the furniture across Brampton and the GTA.
What is the warranty?
Span lists a 5-year warranty on the Classic Collection for the original purchaser. Westin Healthcare processes the warranty work on our service and repairs page.
