Description
The Drive BP3600 is an upper-arm blood pressure monitor for home tracking in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area. It is Drive's economy automatic model: one-touch start, a large LCD, a medium cuff for arms 22-36 cm (about 8.7-14.2 in), and memory for 120 readings. Readings support home monitoring. They do not diagnose a condition and they do not replace advice from a healthcare provider.
Cuff size and who this fits
Drive's owner manual prints a medium cuff for an upper-arm circumference of 22.0-36.0 cm (about 8.66-14.17 in). Measure the bare upper arm at the midpoint. The cuff goes about 1-2 cm (1/2 in) above the elbow, level with the heart. Drive writes the unit for people 12 years and older. It is not for infants and it is not for a limb with an IV, a shunt, or a wound.
Drive lists a larger replacement cuff in the BP2001 family for arms 12.6-17.7 in (about 32-45 cm). Call (905) 451-7743 if the included medium cuff is too small. A wrist model is the Drive BP2116 when an upper-arm cuff will not sit correctly.

Memory for 120 readings with date and time, plus an average of the last 3 results. WHO colour-bar indicator and an irregular-heartbeat symbol during a reading. Auto-off after about 3 minutes. Power is 4 AAA alkaline batteries or Drive's optional BP2610 medical AC adapter (DC 6.0 V, 600 mA), which is not in the carton. Unit about 140 x 98 x 48 mm (5.51 x 3.86 x 1.89 in) and about 340 g (11.99 oz) without batteries. A travel bag is included. Drive's current card does not say the AAA cells ship in the box.
Upper-arm or wrist: which blood pressure monitor
An upper-arm cuff is the usual first choice for a blood pressure monitor in Canada when the arm is in the 22-36 cm range. Stay on this BP3600 if you want Drive's smaller LCD and AAA power. Step up to the Drive BP3400 Deluxe for the extra-large 3.31 x 2.17 in screen, AA batteries, and two memory groups of 60. Use the Drive BP2116 wrist monitor when an upper-arm cuff will not fit. Frequently asked questions
What Cuff Size Does The Drive BP3600 Use?
The Drive BP3600 ships with a medium upper-arm cuff for 22.0-36.0 cm (about 8.7-14.2 in). Drive lists a larger BP2001-family cuff for 12.6-17.7 in arms. Measure the arm before you buy.
Does This Blood Pressure Monitor Diagnose High Blood Pressure?
No. The Drive BP3600 supports home tracking. Drive's manual says not to confuse self-monitoring with self-diagnosis and to talk with a healthcare provider who knows your history if readings look unusual.
How Do I Take A Reading At Home?
Drive asks you to rest about 5 minutes, sit with your back supported and feet flat, keep the cuff level with the heart, and stay still and quiet. Avoid eating, exercise, and bathing for 30 minutes before a reading. Wait at least 3 minutes before you repeat a test. Use the same arm each time you compare numbers.
What Does The Irregular Heartbeat Symbol Mean?
On the Drive BP3600, the symbol appears when the monitor sees a rhythm about 25% slower or faster than the average during that reading. It is not a diagnosis. Drive says to consult a physician if the symbol shows up often.
What Batteries Does The BP3600 Take?
The Drive BP3600 runs on 4 AAA alkaline batteries. An optional Drive BP2610 adapter (DC 6.0 V, 600 mA) can power it from the wall. Drive's current card does not say the cells are in the carton.
How Is The BP3600 Different From The BP3400 Deluxe?
Both are Drive upper-arm monitors with a 22-36 cm cuff and a 2-year monitor warranty. The BP3600 uses a 2.45 x 1.81 in LCD and 4 AAA cells. The BP3400 uses a 3.31 x 2.17 in LCD, 4 AA cells, and two memory groups of 60.
What Is The Warranty?
Drive warrants the BP3600 monitor for 2 years from the original purchase date and the cuff for 1 year. Westin Healthcare processes the manufacturer claim.
