Description
The Drive BP2116 is a wrist blood pressure monitor for home tracking and travel in Brampton and the GTA. It is a compact automatic wrist model with a large LCD, quiet inflation, memory for 120 readings, and a cuff for wrists 13.5-21.5 cm (5.3-8.5 in). Readings support home monitoring. They do not diagnose a condition and they do not replace advice from a healthcare provider.
Wrist size and who this fits
Drive's owner manual prints a wrist cuff for 13.5-21.5 cm (5.3-8.5 in). Measure the wrist and keep the cuff at heart level while you sit. Drive writes the unit for people 12 years and older. It is not for infants.
Drive's own manual says a wrist reading can differ from an upper-arm reading, especially if circulation is reduced. An upper-arm cuff is the usual first choice when the arm fits one. See the Drive BP3600 or the Drive BP3400 Deluxe for 22-36 cm upper arms.

Wrist or upper-arm: which blood pressure monitor
Use this BP2116 when you need a small travel wrist unit or when an upper-arm cuff will not sit on the arm. Choose an upper-arm model when the arm is 22-36 cm: the Drive BP3600 for the smaller LCD, or the Drive BP3400 for the extra-large screen and two-user memory. Browse blood pressure monitors.

Frequently asked questions
What Wrist Size Does The Drive BP2116 Fit?
The Drive BP2116 cuff fits a wrist of 13.5-21.5 cm (5.3-8.5 in). Measure the wrist before you buy. If the wrist is outside that range, do not force the cuff.
Is A Wrist Monitor As Good As An Upper-Arm Monitor?
Drive writes the BP2116 as a wrist unit and notes that wrist values can differ from upper-arm values. Use it when an upper-arm cuff will not fit, keep the wrist at heart level, and talk with a healthcare provider about which site they want you to use.
Does This Blood Pressure Monitor Diagnose High Blood Pressure?
No. The Drive BP2116 supports home tracking. Drive's manual says not to confuse self-monitoring with self-diagnosis and to talk with a healthcare provider if readings look unusual.
How Do I Take A Wrist Reading?
Drive asks you to rest about 5 minutes, sit with your back supported and feet flat, wrap the cuff on the left wrist with the palm up, and raise the wrist to heart level. Stay still and quiet. Wait at least 3 minutes before you repeat a test.
What Batteries Does The BP2116 Take?
The Drive BP2116 runs on 2 AAA alkaline batteries. Drive's current card does not say the cells are in the carton. There is no AC-adapter jack on this wrist model.
