EVE! is the seated lift that rolls into a care bathtub. The seat lowers to 495 mm (19.5 in) so a person who can still sit can get on, then the electric column raises the seat to 1065 mm (41.9 in) for bathing or showering. The same chair also works as a shower chair. If your care plan names the Beka SENTA, that is a different lift with a 150 kg rating and optional stretcher wings; this page is the EVE!.

This lift is for a person who needs a hospital-grade seated bath and shower lift, when the therapist has named a Beka EVE!. Beka marks the current product page for mobility groups 2 and 3. The EVE! operating manual describes indoor lifting and transferring in hospitals, nursing homes, and care centres, plus short indoor transport on smooth, level floors. What you get

The frame is aluminum and stainless steel. Four 100 mm (3.9 in) double castors carry the lift. The rear pair is fixed and has parking brakes. Lock those brakes before a transfer or a height change. The seat is a shaped PUR pad with a hygiene opening. The pad and the backrest come off for cleaning. Both safety armrests fold back on their own. A safety belt buckles to either arm support and to one of four points on the mast.

The cable remote and the column keypad both raise and lower the seat. The handset shows battery charge, a service reminder, and an overload warning. The motor is self-locking, so the seat does not drop if power is lost. Opening the control-box door is the emergency stop. With battery voltage still present you can raise or lower the seat from the buttons inside that box. Charge the removable 24 V battery about 4 hours before the first shift. Do not use the lift while it is charging. The electrics are IPX4 (splash-proof) and are for indoor use only.

These figures are for EVE! articles 920107000 and 920108000 from the current EVE! operating manual. The technical table prints a safe working load of 185 kg (408 lb). Product weight is 63 kg (139 lb) without packaging. Seat height is 495-1065 mm (19.5-41.9 in). Overall size is 950 x 680 x 1240 mm (37.4 x 26.8 x 48.8 in) with the arms closed, or 940 mm (37.0 in) long with the arms opened. Turning radius is 110 cm (43.3 in). Chassis height on the Savaria card is 140 mm (5.5 in), with 30 mm (1.18 in) of free space under the carrier frame. Castors are 100 mm (3.9 in). The battery is a removable 24 V pack. Charge time is about 4 hours. Duty cycle is 2 minutes of motion, then 18 minutes of rest. Noise is at most 55 dB(A). Leave 1810 mm (71.3 in) of clear height without a patient on the seat.

Which lifts and rooms this bath lift works with

Beka prints an unimpeded transfer from the NORA lift-up aid onto the EVE! seat. The EVE! manual also shows a bed-to-seat sequence: fold both armrests back, bring the seat over the mattress, lock the brakes, help the person onto the seat, fold the armrests in, and fasten the safety belt. For a person who can walk to the seat, lock the brakes, fold the armrests, lower the seat, and let them sit with their back against the backrest.

We already sell those NORA lifts. Use the Beka Nora when the person can stand for a short time with support. Use the Beka Nora Pro when you were named the Pro cushion. Use the Beka CARLO Classic when the person needs a full-body loop-sling transfer and cannot sit down on their own. Beka's EVE! cards name NORA, not CARLO, for the seat-to-seat path. The sling belongs to the lift that brings the person over, not to this bath lift. Start at sit-to-stand slings for Nora, or full-body slings for CARLO.

Beka prints that EVE! fits in a modern care bathtub. Measure the bathroom door, the turning circle, and the tub apron with us before you order. The lift is for even indoor floors. Do not push it over slopes or raised sills. Do not use it while the battery is on charge.

What is the safe working load of the EVE! bath lift?

The EVE! operating manual prints 185 kg (408 lb). Stay inside that number for the person plus anything on the seat. The overload LED on the handset flashes if the limit is exceeded.

Does EVE! fit an existing care bathtub?

Beka and Savaria print that EVE! integrates with an existing care bathtub and fits a modern care tub. We still measure the tub apron, the door, and the 110 cm (43.3 in) turning radius with you before we order.

How is EVE! different from SENTA?

EVE! is the seated 185 kg bath and shower lift. SENTA PUR L is a different Beka lift at 150 kg, with optional stretcher wings. If the prescription names SENTA, do not order this page.

Which model should I pick?

920107000 is the EVE! Bathing Lift with the wall charger. 920108000 adds the factory digital scale. The lift is the same. The scale is not calibrated and is not for diagnosis. A retrofit scale (920107500) can be quoted later.

Does EVE! work with the Beka lifts we already sell?

Beka names NORA for seating a person onto EVE!. We sell the Nora and the Nora Pro. Lock the rear brakes before the stand aid comes in. For a person who cannot sit down, ask us about the CARLO Classic.

What is included with the lift?

Can one caregiver operate EVE!?

Beka prints that the hand control lets one caregiver operate the lift. The EVE! manual still says to check, before each lift, whether a second assistant is required. We will assess the person and the room with you.

How do I charge EVE!?

Take the 24 V battery to the wall charger that ships with the lift. First charge is about 4 hours. The same battery family is used on other mobile Beka lifts. Do not bathe or shower a person in the lift while the battery is on charge.

Do the castors lock?

Yes. The two rear 100 mm (3.9 in) double castors have parking brakes. Engage them whenever you lift a person, so the chassis cannot roll.

Can I use the optional scale for medical weights?

No. The scale is not calibrated and must not be used for diagnostic, therapeutic, or medical purposes. It can display kg or lb in 0.1 kg steps.

How fast can a purchased EVE! be set up in the GTA?
