Who it is for
This tub is for a person who needs a full care bath in a hospital, long-term care, or assessed home bathroom, when a shower chair or a bath lift in a standard tub is no longer enough. Beka names mobility groups 2, 3, 4, and 5. Beka's operating manual writes the intended use as bathing and caring for patients in hospitals and care centres, by trained staff. What you get
You get the AVERO Premium Plus in the model on your quote, the GRP tub body, the console with symbol keys, the chrome grab handles, the hand shower, and scald protection on the shower and the spout. A disinfection system, automatic water stop, air-jet whirlpool, colour light therapy, music sound, tub shortener, second hand shower, emergency function at power failure, and Prestige grab bar are quoted with the room.
The tub body is glass-fibre reinforced plastic. The lowered foot area, moulded back, and armrests hold the person in a seated-to-reclined bath. The seat has a hygiene opening. The tub does not need to be fixed to the floor, and optional floor or wall mounting is available. We will survey the drains, the 120 V supply, and the turning space before we book the install. Disinfect the tub after each bath; it is not suitable for sterilisation.

PREMIUM PLUS 175 is 2,080 mm long (81.9 in) and holds about 190 L (50.1 gal) without the person. PREMIUM PLUS 190 is 2,230 mm long (87.8 in) and holds about 220 L (58.1 gal) without the person. Inner width is 575 mm at the floor of the tub and 720 mm at the rim. Model 190 inner length is 1,780 mm.

Westin's own team delivers and sets up this care bathtub across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the keypad, the height travel, and the drain before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a care bathtub first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Purchased care bathtubs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Care bathtubs are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the tub is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Which lifts and rooms this tub fits
Premium Plus works with standard bath lifts and modern care lifts. A wheelchair user can be lifted in with a mobile floor lift or a ceiling lift, through the opening under the tub. Measure the door, the turning space, the drain, and the 120 V point before you order. Hot and cold feeds and a floor or wall drain have to match the room. We will walk that list with you on the site visit.
If the prescription names AVERO Comfort, go to the AVERO Comfort. If it names AVERO Motion, go to the AVERO Motion. Those are different tubs. Premium Plus is the classic lifting tub with three-side access.

When something on the tub needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a German parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Beka manufacturer warranty
Beka warranty terms ship with each serial number; ask us for the terms on your order. The expected useful life is about 10 years with an annual safety check, and unauthorised work voids the warranty. Authorised Beka service keeps that warranty in force. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.

Does the tub have to be bolted to the floor?
Savaria and Beka write that Premium Plus stands freely and does not need to be fixed to the floor. Beka's manual still shows optional floor or wall mounting. We will confirm the room on the site visit.
Can a wheelchair user get in without a lift?
Savaria names a low entry for an independent wheelchair transfer. Beka's manual also describes a lift through the opening under the tub. We will not promise that every person can transfer without a lift.
Which lift works with this tub?

Does disinfection come on the tub?
The disinfection system is an option (810328001). The tub still has to be disinfected after each bath. It is not for sterilisation. Ask us to add disinfection on the same quote if the room specified it.
