Description
The Profilio Economy raised toilet seat is Profilio's portable 4 inch (10 cm) slip-on riser, SKU 771-610. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It sits on the bowl under the seat you already have. It is not a clamp-on seat and it has no arms.
Profilio is a former AMG Medical bathroom-safety brand. Drive Medical Canada bought that brand in 2016 and still owns the Canadian trademark. Drive does not publish a current 771-610 sheet. The Westin card describes a lightweight, portable polyethylene ring that fits most toilet bowls and is used with the existing seat.
Who this raised toilet seat is for
This seat is for a person who wants a 4 inch portable ring they can lift off and take to another washroom. Families here usually call when they want a simple slip-on for a Brampton or GTA guest bath, not a locked seat.
If you want the AquaSense portable 4 inch with a current Drive sheet, start with the AquaSense Economy 770-610. If you want arms, see the AquaSense 3-in-1.
- 4 inch (10 cm) of added height
- Portable slip-on, used with the existing toilet seat
- Profilio brand, Drive Canada / ex-AMG
Height and fit
A raised toilet seat adds height on top of the toilet you already have. The Profilio Economy is the 4 inch portable. Drive does not print a knee-to-floor formula on a 771-610 sheet, because that sheet is missing. Come into a Brampton or Toronto store and we will put the 4 inch ring on a toilet so the person's feet still reach the floor.
How it attaches
This is a friction-fit portable ring used with the existing seat. It does not use the three locking points on the Drive PreserveTech Secure Lock, and it does not use the side clamps on the AquaSense with-lid seats. You lift it off when you want the toilet back to stock height.
Arm-height and 21.5 x 24.5 figures belong to a commode frame, not this ring.
Profilio Economy specifications
These figures are what we can stand behind without a current Drive 771-610 sheet. The specification tab still holds commode-frame numbers. Do not use those.
Brand Profilio (Drive Medical Canada, formerly AMG). SKU 771-610. Height added 4 in (10 cm) on the Westin card. Material polyethylene. Fit portable, used with the existing seat, most toilet bowls as the card states. No arms. No lid. Capacity and warranty are not on a manufacturer sheet, so they stay out of the copy until Drive Canada reprints 771-610.
2 inch or 4 inch, lid or lock
The Profilio Economy is the portable 4 inch ring. The AquaSense Economy is the other portable 4 inch ring, SKU 770-610, with a current Drive 400 lb sheet. The AquaSense 4 inch with lid clamps on and closes. The Secure Lock is a 5 inch lock-on seat.
Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada's Home and Vehicle Modification Program, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
