Description
The AquaSense raised toilet seat with lid is AquaSense's 4 inch (10 cm) clamp-on riser with a lid, sold as standard 770-626 and elongated 770-629. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It raises the toilet and closes. It is not a commode and it has no arms.
Drive's current AquaSense with-lid sheet rates both bowl shapes at 300 lb (136 kg). The seat is PE. Drive writes that you fasten the clamps on the bowl with no tools, and that you release the clamps to take the seat off. Plastic parts are made using recycled materials.
Who this raised toilet seat is for
This seat is for a person who stays at or under the 300 lb (136 kg) rating and who wants 4 inch of height plus a lid, without arms. Families here usually call when they want the washroom to look closed in a Brampton or GTA home that guests still use.
If you want 2 inch with a lid, see the AquaSense 2 inch with lid. If you want arms, start with the AquaSense 3-in-1.
- 4 inch (10 cm) of added height
- Lid included
- Standard 770-626 or elongated 770-629
Height and fit
A raised toilet seat adds height on top of the toilet you already have. Drive prints 4 inch (10 cm) on both 770-626 and 770-629. Drive does not print a knee-to-floor formula. Use Choose Seat Style for Standard (770-626) or Elongated (770-629). Come into a Brampton or Toronto store with a photo of the bowl if you are not sure which shape you have.
How it attaches
Drive writes: no tools required. Fasten the clamps onto the toilet bowl. Release the clamps to remove the seat. That is a clamp fit, not the three-point lock on the Drive PreserveTech Secure Lock, and not the portable slip-on ring on the AquaSense Economy.
AquaSense with lid 4 inch specifications
These figures are for Drive's current AquaSense Raised Toilet Seat with Lid sheet. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use the sheet when they fight.
Weight capacity 300 lb (136 kg). Height added 4 in (10 cm). Material PE. SKUs 770-626 standard and 770-629 elongated. Tool-free clamps. Lid included. Recycled plastics. The sheet does not print a warranty year.
2 inch or 4 inch, lid or lock
770-626 and 770-629 are the 4 inch AquaSense with a lid. The 2 inch with lid is the same idea at 2 inch. The Drive 2 inch with lid is a different Drive SKU (12063). The Economy is a 4 inch ring with no lid. The PreserveTech Universal rebuilds to 2, 4, or 6 inch and has a lid and pivoting arms.
Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada's Home and Vehicle Modification Program, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
