Description
The AquaSense raised toilet seat with lid 2 inch is AquaSense's 2 inch (5 cm) clamp-on riser with a lid, SKU 770-625. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It raises the toilet and closes. It is not a Drive 12063 seat and it has no arms.
Drive's 770-625 one-pager names it AQS 2 inch RTS, LID, WHITE. The 4 inch AquaSense with-lid sheet (770-626 / 770-629) prints 300 lb (136 kg), PE, and tool-free clamps. Home Depot and Lowe's print 300 lb on 770-625. The seat uses the same clamp-and-lid idea as the 4 inch AquaSense, at 2 inch.
Who this raised toilet seat is for
This seat is for a person who stays at or under the 300 lb (136 kg) same-line rating and who wants a small 2 inch lift plus a lid, without arms. Families here usually call when a 4 inch riser would leave the feet dangling in a Brampton or GTA washroom that guests still use.
If you want 4 inch with a lid, see the AquaSense 4 inch with lid. If you want the Drive 2 inch with lid, that is SKU 12063 on the Drive 2 inch with lid page. Those are different seats.
- 2 inch (5 cm) of added height
- Lid included
- AquaSense 770-625, not Drive 12063
Height and fit
A raised toilet seat adds height on top of the toilet you already have. Drive names 770-625 the 2 inch with lid. Drive does not print a knee-to-floor formula. Come into a Brampton or Toronto store and we will put the 2 inch and the 4 inch with-lid seats on a toilet so the person's feet still reach the floor.
How it attaches
The 4 inch AquaSense with-lid sheet, the same clamp family, says: no tools. Fasten the clamps onto the toilet bowl. Release the clamps to remove the seat. The 770-625 photo shows the same side clamp. That is a clamp fit, not the three-point lock on the Drive PreserveTech Secure Lock.
AquaSense with lid 2 inch specifications
These figures mix the Drive 770-625 name plate and the same-line 770-626 sheet. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use Drive when they fight.
SKU 770-625. Height added 2 in (5 cm). Same-line weight capacity 300 lb (136 kg). Material PE on the 4 inch sheet. Lid included. Tool-free clamps on the 4 inch sheet. Recycled badge on the 770-625 page. The 770-625 one-pager does not print a warranty year.
2 inch or 4 inch, lid or lock
770-625 is the AquaSense 2 inch with lid. The 4 inch with lid is 770-626 / 770-629. The Drive 2 inch with lid is 12063, a different product. The AquaSense 3-in-1 2 inch has optional arms and no lid. The PreserveTech Universal rebuilds to 2, 4, or 6 inch.
Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada's Home and Vehicle Modification Program, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
