Description

The AquaSense Economy raised toilet seat is AquaSense's portable 4 inch (10 cm) slip-on riser, SKU 770-610. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It sits on the bowl under the seat you already have. It is not a clamp-on seat and it has no arms.

Drive's current AquaSense Economy sheet rates 770-610 at 400 lb (181 kg). Drive writes that it is lightweight, completely portable, and universally sized to fit most commode bowls. The ring is polyethylene. There is no lid.

Who this raised toilet seat is for

This seat is for a person who stays at or under the 400 lb (181 kg) rating and who wants a 4 inch lift they can lift off and take to another washroom. Families here usually call when they want a simple ring for a Brampton or GTA guest bath, not a locked seat.

If you want arms, start with the AquaSense 3-in-1. If you want a lid that clamps on, see the AquaSense 4 inch with lid. The Profilio Economy is the other portable 4 inch ring we sell.

  • 4 inch (10 cm) of added height
  • Portable slip-on, used with the existing toilet seat
  • 400 lb (181 kg) on Drive's current sheet

Height and fit

A raised toilet seat adds height on top of the toilet you already have. SKU 770-610 is the AquaSense 4 inch portable. Drive does not print a knee-to-floor formula. Come into a Brampton or Toronto store and we will put the 4 inch ring on a toilet so the person's feet still reach the floor.

How it attaches

This is a friction-fit portable ring. Drive writes that it fits most commode bowls. It does not use the three locking points on the Drive PreserveTech Secure Lock, and it does not use the side clamps on the AquaSense with-lid seats. You lift it off when you want the toilet back to stock height.

AquaSense Economy specifications

These figures are for Drive's current AquaSense Economy sheet (770-610). The specification tab holds the stored values. Use the sheet when they fight. Do not use the old 300 lb marketing line.

Weight capacity 400 lb (181 kg). Height added 4 in (10 cm). Material polyethylene. Fit portable, most commode bowls. No arms. No lid. The sheet does not print a warranty year.

2 inch or 4 inch, lid or lock

The AquaSense Economy is the 4 inch portable ring. The 3-in-1 is the 2 inch or 4 inch seat with optional arms. The 4 inch with lid clamps on and closes. The PreserveTech Universal rebuilds to 2, 4, or 6 inch. The Secure Lock is a 5 inch lock-on seat.

Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada's Home and Vehicle Modification Program, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
