This is not EasyBelt. EasyBelt is the moisture-resistant nylon-inside sibling we already sell. This is not ReTurnBelt. ReTurnBelt hooks to the Handicare ReTurn. FlexiBelt sits around the waist or hips. It is not a lifting sling and it has no loops or clips.
Who it is for
This belt is for a person who can take part in a sit-to-stand or a short seated move, when a firm hand on the waist is safer than a lift. SystemRoMedic names sit-to-stand, wheelchair to bed, toilet or car, and support while standing or walking. Caregivers can work from the side or the front, one or two people, using the vertical and horizontal handles. It is not a device for lifting a person off the surface.

What you get
You get one FlexiBelt in the article on your quote. Nothing else ships in the carton. SupportStraps (6061) can be quoted as a leg harness if the belt rides up during standing or gait. EasySlide, EasyGlide, and the ReTurn stay on their own cards.
The outer cloth is nylon with reinforced seams and a finished edge. The inner face is polyester velvet with an anti-slip treatment. The buckle is a quick-connect with a tightening strap. On hug sizes, the horizontal handles slide in loops so the belt hugs the person instead of sliding up. On classic sizes the handles are fixed. Place the belt below the waist, fasten it, and tighten it. Confirm the waist measurement with our staff before first use.

Hug sizes: 6072 XS 17.7-27.6 in (3+2 handles); 6073 S 23.6-39.4 in (4+3); 6074 M 27.6-47.2 in (5+4); 6075 L 39.4-63.0 in (6+5); 6076 XL 45.3-68.9 in (7+6). Classic sizes: 6023 S 7 handles; 6024 M 9 handles; 6025 L 11 handles; 6026 XL 13 handles. Same waist bands as the matching hug letter. Hug patent marks are SE-536 273 and EP-2 611 409.
Expected lifetime is up to 10 years of normal use. SystemRoMedic marks the belt as Medical Device Class I under MDR 2017/745. Read the product label for wash temperature. Do not use fabric softener. Avoid tumble-drying. Inspect seams, cloth, buckle, and handles after every wash and discard the belt if it is worn or faded. What this belt works with
FlexiBelt is a waist belt. It is not attached to a lift. For a wet room or a hygiene room, start with EasyBelt. We already sell EasyBelt. Ask us to add that size on the same quote if the transfer is in water.
If the person uses a ReTurn sit-to-stand platform, the companion belt is ReTurnBelt, not FlexiBelt. See the Handicare ReTurn for the platform. SupportStraps can be added as a leg harness so this belt stays down during standing or gait. A seated slide can add EasySlide or EasyGlide. Those stay on their own cards.

SystemRoMedic FlexiBelt warranty
The manuals that ship with this family do not print a warranty term in years. They print an expected lifetime of up to 10 years of normal use. Inspect the belt after every wash and replace it when the cloth, seams, buckle, or handles show wear. Westin Healthcare processes the claim with you. Ask us what cover applies to your order.

Should I pick hug or classic?
Pick hug when you want the sliding horizontal handles that keep the belt from riding up. Pick classic when fixed handles and the same velvet inner are enough. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will match the waist measurement with you.
Is FlexiBelt a lifting belt or a sling?
No. SystemRoMedic says it is not an assistive device for lifting. It has no lift loops or clips. Use a patient lift and a matching sling when the person cannot take part in the stand.
How do I wash FlexiBelt?
Read the product label that ships on the belt. Do not use fabric softener. Avoid tumble-drying. Inspect it after every wash.
Does SupportStraps come with the belt?
No. The quote is the FlexiBelt in the code you pick. SupportStraps 6061 is a separate leg harness. Ask us if you want it on the quote.
How many caregivers does it take?
One or two, depending on the person. Two caregivers stand one on each side, use the rear cross-grips, and hold a hand at the front. Lean the person forward before the rise.
How fast can a purchased FlexiBelt be delivered in the GTA?
