The Risk Manager is an innovative bedside safety mat crafted from elastomeric gel compound for superior comfort and stability, designed to reduce the incidence of falls with its low-profile, user-friendly, and persistent bedside positioning. Construction and how it works
The Risk Manager is engineered from an ultra-tough, impact-absorbing lightweight elastomeric gel compound commonly used in expensive orthotics and premium footwear. Premium elastomeric gel surface reduces impact from falls. Bonus: Provides welcome comfort for bedside caregivers.
Nano-silver throughout protects the mat from stains, odor-causing bacteria, mould and mildew. The mat wipes clean with most standard cleaning agents. It is stain-, oil- and fluid-resistant, and fluidproof. It is non-toxic, latex-free, and lead-free. Fire-resistant. Meets Cal TB 117.
The top is a non-slip, textured surface. The slide-resistant bottom grips the floor and helps keep the mat in place. The low profile and beveled edge allow easy on and off for wheelchairs and lifts. Not a trip hazard, unlike bulky gym-style mats. Thin, stable surface means staff will not move Risk Manager from beside the bed. The mat rolls up for transport, storage, and shipping.

The 36 inch XL includes Risk Manager grip strips as standard. Grip strips (43398) are 2 inches wide and 14 inches long, three to a pack, for highly-polished floors where extra slide resistance may be desired. Ask us to add 43398 to a 24 inch quote when the floor is polished. Facility 5-packs can be quoted as 94612 (24 inch) and 9611836 (36 inch).

Both sizes are 70 inches long, so they sit short of a typical 76 or 80 inch sleep deck. Pick 24 inches when one side of a standard bed needs cover. Pick 36 inches when the room wants the XL width.

On a highly-polished floor, add grip strips. Clean the underside, place the three strips, peel the face film, set the mat down, and step on it to check slide resistance. Wipe the strips with water or window cleaner when dust builds up.
