HumanCare Comfort Sling High Soft

The Human Care Comfort Sling High Soft is a high-back sit-on sling with extra head support and no divided legs. Human Care rates every size at 300 kg (660 lb). The cloth is Soft Air Mesh. Westin Healthcare sells it in Brampton and fits it across the Greater Toronto Area for people who need a reclined sit and a gentler pressure pattern.

This is a loop sling. It hangs on a Human Care 2-, 3-, or 4-point hanger bar, not on an E-clip. The Size and Type selector also lists the shoulder-high Comfort Sling Soft (25064). Who this sling is for

Human Care designed both Comfort models for people with pain. The undivided seat spreads weight and is applied while the person is lying down. High Soft (25069) adds head support. Soft (25064) stops at the shoulders. Human Care says Soft Air Mesh can stay behind the person for a short period after the transfer. This is not a sit-to-stand sling.

Sizing

Human Care sizes these slings by A, B, and C. High Soft and Soft share A and B. High Soft C is longer because of the head support. There is no manufacturer weight band per size. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use.

Soft C (not shown above) is 90 / 100 / 110 / 116 / 120 cm from Junior Medium to Extra Large. Every size shares the 300 kg / 660 lb maximum. Choose Size and Type for the model and size. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will measure with you.

Attachment and compatible lifts

Both Comfort models are loop slings. Human Care names hanger bars 57551, 55764, and 55619. They do not use E-clips.

On our floor they belong on a Human Care motor hanging from the Humancare Lena or the Humancare FlexiRail, with a matching loop hanger bar. The working load of the finished system is the lowest rating among the frame, motor, bar, and sling. Shop other full-body styles in full-body slings.

Care and laundering

Human Care prints the care instructions on the sling label and asks for a hospital-grade laundry bag. The product sheet shows a 75 C wash symbol, no bleach, and no dry clean. Follow the label on the sling you receive. Inspect the webbing and seams after every wash.

When something on the sling needs work, you call the shop that sold it, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.

Human Care's current Comfort product sheet does not print a simple year-count warranty. Ask us for the warranty that ships with your order. We handle the claim with you.

Is this an E-clip sling?

No. Human Care's Comfort slings are loop slings. E-clip attachments belong on the Full Body E-clip family.

What is the difference between 25064 and 25069?

25069 is Comfort Sling High Soft, with extra head support. 25064 is Comfort Sling Soft, shoulder high, same Soft Air Mesh and same 300 kg / 660 lb rating.

What is the safe working load?

Human Care prints 300 kg / 660 lb on every size on sheet 99025 Rev2.

Which size should I order?
