HumanCare Full Body Sling E-clip

The Human Care Full Body Sling E-clip is a high-back sling that locks onto mushroom fasteners. Human Care rates every size at 300 kg (660 lb). Westin Healthcare quotes it in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area with the Human Care motor and bar that match those clips.

Who this sling is for

Human Care designed the Full Body E-clip for people who need support of the head, torso, and thighs in a reclined sit, including lifts from a flat surface such as the floor. Soft Air Mesh has a padded head support. The In-Situ model has removable stiffeners so the head support can fold away if the sling stays behind the person. Stiffeners must be in their pockets during a transfer. Polyester net is the showering fabric.

Sizing

Human Care sizes the E-clip family by A, B, and C. The current product sheet prints those measures on the In-Situ articles (25011C Soft Air Mesh and 25006C net). There is no manufacturer weight band per size. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use.

Every size shares the 300 kg / 660 lb maximum. Soft Air Mesh without removable stiffeners uses the 25010C articles. Polyester net without In-Situ uses 25005C. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will write size, fabric, motor, and bar on one quote.

Attachment and compatible lifts

The lock is an E-clip. Human Care says it works one-handed on lifts with mushroom fasteners 6.8 to 8.2 mm. Named spreader bars are HeliQ 92441, 92442, and 92443, Diana II Comfort 4ESB 90560, and Diana II / Diana II Comfort 4MSB 90558 / 90559.

On our floor that means a Human Care motor hanging from the Humancare Lena or the Humancare FlexiRail, with an E-clip / mushroom bar on that motor. Handicare C450, C625, and A450 carry bars are loop hooks. They do not take this sling. Shop other full-body styles in full-body slings.

Maximum user weight is 300 kg / 660 lb. Four-point E-clip suspension. Soft Air Mesh is padded at the head on the standard model and has removable stiffeners on In-Situ. Polyester net is for wet rooms. We quote the sling with the motor and bar. Nothing ships until that quote is agreed.

Care and laundering

Human Care says to follow the sling label and to wash the sling in an approved laundry bag. Inspect the clips, webbing, and seams after every wash.

Warranty

When something on the sling needs work, you call the shop that sold it, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.

Human Care manufacturer warranty

Human Care's current E-clip product sheet does not print a simple year-count warranty. Ask us for the warranty that ships with the sling on your quote. We handle the claim with you.

Is this a loop sling?

No. It is an E-clip sling for mushroom fasteners 6.8 to 8.2 mm. Loop Comfort and Amputee slings are different Human Care families.

What is the safe working load?

Human Care prints 300 kg / 660 lb on every size on sheet 98011 Rev5.

Does it fit a Handicare C450 or A450?

No. Those Handicare motors use loop carry-bar hooks. This sling needs a Human Care E-clip / mushroom bar.

Does the sling include the lift?

No. Westin quotes the sling with the Human Care motor, hanger bar, and Lena or FlexiRail frame so nothing is assumed.

Which size should I order?

Use Human Care's A, B, and C measures. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use.

Can I leave the In-Situ sling behind the person?

Human Care provides removable stiffeners for that. Stiffeners must be in their pockets during a transfer. Follow the label for how long the sling may stay in place.

How do I wash it?
