Drive Bariatric Half Length Bed Rails 15021BV-LW

The Drive 15021BV-LW is a pair of half-length rails made only for Drive's lightweight bariatric homecare beds. Westin Healthcare sells them, delivers them, and fits them on that series for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Drive builds them from steel with a brown finish. The carton is one pair for the 42, 48, or 54 inch LW frame.

Which beds this fits

Drive names three frames only: 15300LW, 15302LW, and 15303LW. On our site those are the Drive 15300LW 42-inch bariatric bed, the Drive 15302LW 48-inch bariatric bed, and the Drive 15303LW 54-inch bariatric bed.

Do not put 15021BV-LW on a Delta 1000, a Delta 15235, a 15005LP, or a SoLite Pro. Do not put Drive 15201BV or 15001ABV on an LW bariatric frame. Drive does not list a full-length rail for this series.

Drive's spec sheet states these rails follow FDA Hospital Bed System Dimensional Assessment Guidance to Reduce Entrapment and CPSC ASTM standards. Drive also writes that they are ideal for maximum protection and support when the bed is elevated. Drive does not print a rail height, a product weight, or a separate weight capacity on that sheet, so those numbers are not repeated here. Use the bed's own capacity for the person on the frame.
