Description
The Drive Bariatric Overbed Table 13080-HOBO is Drive's wide, steel-reinforced table: an 18 by 40 inch Banister Oak laminate top on an opal H-base, rated 500 lb in the locked position. Westin Healthcare sells this configuration, confirms the lead time (Drive builds the 13080 family as a special order), and delivers it in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The top is long enough to reach the middle of a 42, 48, or 54 inch bariatric mattress.
Which beds this fits
This overbed table works with any bed. Drive wrote the 18 by 40 inch top "to reach the center line of most bariatric beds," including the Drive 15300LW 42-inch bariatric bed, the Drive 15302LW 48-inch bed, and the Drive 15303LW 54-inch bed.
On a 36-inch homecare frame the top still slides over the mattress. It will overhang. The 42-inch-wide H-base needs a clear path beside the bed. The 500 lb figure is the locked tabletop rating, not the person's body weight.
Drive 13080-HOBO specifications
This listing is Banister Oak, H-base, opal powder coat, no vanity. Drive's spec sheet prints a 500 lb capacity, height from 30 to 45 inches in 1-inch steps, an 18 by 42 inch base, a 70 lb product weight, and a 75 lb carton. A steel welded frame runs almost the full length of the top. Two-inch swivel casters roll the table. Extra powder-coat and laminate colours exist at Drive. Ask us if you want one of those as a special order.
Height on 13080 is stepped, not the infinite spring lift used on 13067 and 13008. Lock the column before anyone leans on the top. Drive's 500 lb rating applies in that locked position.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this table across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the 1-inch height stops and the lock before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a table first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased tables are delivered and set up on a scheduled date. Because Drive builds 13080 as a special order, we confirm the lead time before we book that date.
If the table is going outside the GTA, ask us for a shipping quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
Warranty
When the column lock or a caster needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive's spec sheet for 13080-HOBO prints a limited lifetime warranty. For the original purchaser, Drive warrants the product free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. That warranty does not cover owner misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to non-durable parts such as casters and grips. We handle the claim with you.
Frequently asked questions
Which beds does the 13080 fit?
Any bed. Drive sized the 40-inch top for the middle of a bariatric mattress. The matching Westin frames are the Drive 15300LW 42-inch, 15302LW 48-inch, and 15303LW 54-inch beds.
What does 500 lb mean on this table?
Drive says that in the locked position the table can support 500 lb. Lock the column first. That number is the tabletop rating, not a reason to stand on the table or use it as a transfer aid.
How is this different from the 13067 homecare table?
13067 is a 40 lb, 15 by 30 inch spring-lift table for everyday beds. 13080 is a 70 lb, steel-reinforced, 18 by 40 inch table with 1-inch height stops and a 500 lb locked rating. Use 13080 when the mattress is wide or the load on the top is heavy.
Does the top tilt?
No. 13080-HOBO is a non-tilt laminate top on an H-base without a vanity drawer.
How do I change the height?
Set the column in 1-inch steps between 30 and 45 inches, then lock it. It is not the light-upward-pressure spring used on 13067.
Can I get a different laminate?
Drive lists English Oak, Figured Mahogany, Fusion Maple, Nepal Teak, Quartered Oak, Solar Oak, and Wild Cherry on the same sheet. The listing you are looking at is Banister Oak. Call (905) 451-7743 if you need another colour as a special order.
How do I clean the laminate top?
Wipe the Banister Oak laminate with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Dry it so moisture does not sit on the surface.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime for the original purchaser on defects in materials and workmanship. Casters and grips are wear parts. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
