Description
The Drive 13000 overbed table is Drive Medical's pivot-and-tilt U-base table. The mast locks in three positions, from flat on the floor to 90 degrees, while the top stays level. Westin Healthcare sells it, delivers it, and sets it up for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Drive designed the pivot so the top can sit closer to a person in bed or in a wheelchair, then fold away when the room needs the floor back.
This is the only table in the family Drive names for wheelchair use. Drive does not name a Golden or Pride lift-chair model. The open U-base is the chair-side shape. Height range is 28 to 37 inches (71 to 94 cm), shorter than the 13067 or 13008.
Which beds and chairs this fits
This overbed table works with any bed, including the Drive Delta 1000, the Drive 15005LP low-height bed, and the Harmony hi-low bed. Drive also names wheelchair use on the 13000 card. The U-shaped base and the pivoting mast are what bring the 15.75 by 23.5 inch top closer than a fixed H-base table can.
On a tall mattress stack the 37 inch (94 cm) maximum may sit lower than you want. On a floor-low deck the U-base still slides under the bed. The table is a surface, not a patient support. A lift chair can share the same room. Drive does not certify 13000 to a named lift-chair SKU. The U-base and the three mast locks are the fit story Drive actually printed.
Drive 13000 specifications
These figures are for Drive item 13000 as printed on Drive's current spec sheet. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Weight capacity 40 lb (18 kg). Tabletop adjustment 28 to 37 inches (71 to 94 cm). Product weight 21 lb (9.5 kg). Carton 22 lb. Four 2 inch casters, two of them locking. Only the wheels have to be installed. Drive notes larger tubing on the current version. HCPCS on the card is E0274. Warranty is limited lifetime.
The mast locks in one of three positions from flat on the floor to 90 degrees. The tabletop tilts with the mast so the surface stays flat at each angle. That is not a 33-degree reading tilt. Folded, the table stores in a small footprint. The tabletop is 15.75 by 23.5 inches. Do not use the leftover 16 by 24 overalls on the spec tab.
Pivot-and-tilt or a fixed H-base
13000's whole mast pivots and locks in three positions so the top can come closer, then fold flat. The surface stays level. The Drive 13008 is the other tilt story: a fixed H-base whose top angles 33 degrees and goes up to 46 inches.
Non-tilt H-base tables are the Drive 13067 and the Drive 13069. They slide under a bed and stay flat. The clinical U-base that does not pivot is the Drive 16005 at 100 lb (45 kg). Pick 13000 when the person is in a chair or wheelchair and the room needs the table to fold away. Drive's wheelchair sentence is on this card. Drive still does not name a lift-chair model.

Service and warranty
When a caster or the mast lock needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive's spec sheet for 13000 prints a limited lifetime warranty. For the original purchaser, Drive warrants the product free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. That warranty does not cover owner misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to non-durable parts such as casters and grips. We handle the claim with you.
Frequently asked questions
Which Beds Does the 13000 Fit?
The Drive 13000 overbed table fits any bed, plus a wheelchair. Drive wrote the pivot for a person in bed or sitting in a chair. Families here pair it with the Delta 1000 or a low-height frame when the room is tight.
Will It Work Beside a Lift Chair or Wheelchair?
The Drive 13000 overbed table is the one Drive names for a person sitting in a wheelchair. The U-base and the three mast locks bring the top closer. Drive does not name a Golden or Pride lift-chair model. The same open U is the chair-side shape.
How Is Pivot-and-Tilt Different From a 33-Degree Tilt Table?
The Drive 13000 overbed table pivots the whole mast and keeps the top flat at each lock. Drive 13008 is a fixed H-base whose top tilts 33 degrees and goes up to 46 inches. 13000 only goes to 37 inches (94 cm) and then folds.
What Is the Weight Rating?
The Drive 13000 overbed table is rated 40 lb (18 kg). That is the load on the tabletop. Use it for a meal, a book, or a tablet. It is not a stand or a walker.
Does It Fold for Storage?
The Drive 13000 overbed table folds. Drive's card says the pivot lets the table fold for storage. Lock the casters before you fold it.
How Much Assembly Is There?
The Drive 13000 overbed table needs only the wheels installed. Westin fits them on delivery in Brampton and the GTA.
How Do I Lock It in Place?
The Drive 13000 overbed table has four 2 inch casters. Two lock. Lock them once the mast is in the position you want so the table does not roll while someone eats.
What Is the Warranty?
The Drive 13000 overbed table carries a limited lifetime term for the original purchaser on defects in materials and workmanship. Casters and grips are wear parts. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
