This is the keep-your-seat riser. Drive prints that it allows the person to use the existing toilet seat and lid. It is not the 5 inch elongated Drive 12013 and it is not the hinged Drive RTL12607.

Drive prints 3.5 inches for both SKUs. Regular 12402 is 17 in D by 13.75 in W by 3.5 in H (43 cm by 35 cm by 8.9 cm). Elongated 12403 is 19.25 in D by 13.75 in W by 3.5 in H (49 cm by 35 cm by 8.9 cm). Drive says the two models accommodate most standard and elongated toilets.

Design, lock, and install

The riser is heavy-duty moulded plastic. Drive prints that it is made using recycled materials. Arm sleeves and receivers are metal. Drive says the tool-free arms are 19.75 in (50 cm) apart and can be removed or added as needed.

Drive says the riser easily attaches to the toilet bowl and that no tools are required for installation. We show you the fit and the arm lift at delivery. Drive does not print stud or wall-anchor steps for this riser.

12402 is a 3.5 inch keep-your-seat riser, not a 2, 4, or 6 inch replacement seat. Stay here if you want those arms and you want to keep the household lid. For a locking seat that replaces the household seat on a standard bowl, use the Drive 2 inch seat with lid or the Drive 4 inch seat with lid.

If the bowl is elongated and you want a 5 inch replacement seat with a lock, use the Drive 12013. That is a different Drive SKU, not this 12402.
