Description
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator is Drive's trombone-frame 3-wheel for indoor rooms and outdoor pavement in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Drive's current 10289 sheet rates it at 300 lbs (136 kg) and 14 lbs (6.4 kg), with handles from 31 to 38 inches (79 to 97 cm) and 7.5 inch (19 cm) casters.
This is Drive's trombone 3-wheel, SKU 10289BL or 10289RD. It ships with a basket, a tray, and a pouch. It is not the Nitro 3-Wheel (RTL10266TWHL), and it is not a 4-wheel Nitro with a seat.
Fit and height
A 3 wheel rollator fits a person who wants a narrow frame and a basket, and who does not need a seat. Drive prints handles from 31 to 38 inches (79 to 97 cm), 19.7 inches (50 cm) between the arms, and a 24.7 inch (63 cm) overall width.
Stand upright with your arms relaxed. Set the grips at your wrist crease so your elbows stay slightly bent when you hold on. Drive's self-threading knob on each handle sets the height. Match both sides. Come into a Brampton or Toronto store if you want that height checked on the floor.
- Handles 31 to 38 inches (79 to 97 cm)
- 19.7 inches (50 cm) between the arms
- 300 lb (136 kg) rating
Wheels, brakes, and folding
Drive prints 7.5 inch (19 cm) casters for indoor or outdoor use. The loop lock uses an internal aluminum casting. Squeeze the loops to slow down. Lock them before you park the frame.
The frame is a trombone aluminum fold. Drive ships it collapsed. Pull the frame open and secure the lock knob. Fold it with one hand for a closet or a car trunk. The basket folds with the frame. The tray and the pouch come on the rollator.
Weight and portability
Drive prints 14 lbs (6.4 kg) on the 10289 sheet. That is a lightweight folding walker you can lift after the trombone fold. Overall width is 24.7 inches (63 cm). Drive does not print overall length or folded inches on the current sheet. The compact carton and the lock knob are the car-trunk reality.
If you want the Nitro 3-wheel with a 9.8 inch front wheel and hidden brake cables, use the Drive Nitro 3-Wheel Rollator. If you want a seat, use the Drive Nitro Sprint Rollator.

Which Drive Nitro rollator fits
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel is not a Nitro. Stay here if you want the 10289 trombone 3-wheel with a basket, tray, and pouch. The Nitro 3-Wheel is Drive's other 3-wheel: hidden cables, a 9.8 inch front wheel, and a standing side fold. The Nitro Sprint is the 4-wheel Nitro with a seat and a slow-down brake. The Nitro HD is the 450 lb Nitro with a 23 inch seat.
Drive also makes a standard 4-wheel aluminum Nitro (RTL10266), a Nitro Elite CF carbon frame, a Nitro Duet rollator-transport chair, and a Nitro Sprint HD at 500 lb. We do not sell those four here. Ask us if one of them is the better fit.
Funding help for a walker or rollator in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and the aid is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every model qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this rollator across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, open the trombone frame, set the lock knob, and show you the loop brakes and the handle knobs before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a 3 wheel rollator first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased rollators are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
If the rollator is going outside the GTA, ask us for a shipping quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the rollator needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive's 10289 sheet prints a limited lifetime term for the original purchaser. Wear items such as tyres and grips sit outside a lifetime frame term on Drive's other rollator manuals. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
Walker Vs Rollator: Which Is Better?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator is a rollator: three wheels, loop brakes, and a frame you push rather than lift. A walker is a frame with no wheels or two small front wheels, built for someone who needs to bear weight. Pick this Deluxe if you want a rolling 3-wheel with a basket, not a lifting walker.
Is A 3-Wheel Or 4-Wheel Rollator Better?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator is the 3-wheel choice: 24.7 inches wide, no seat, 7.5 inch casters, and a basket. A 4-wheel Nitro such as the Sprint has a seat and a wider stance. Pick the Deluxe for a light 3-wheel with storage. Pick the Sprint or the HD if you want to sit.
How Do I Choose A Rollator Height?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator adjusts from 31 to 38 inches (79 to 97 cm). Stand upright and set the grips at your wrist crease so your elbows stay slightly bent. Use Drive's self-threading knob on each handle and match both sides.
Does ADP Cover Rollators?
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can help with a walker or rollator after an ADP-registered therapist assessment. Eligibility depends on the person and the category. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy. We will point you to the right path for your case.
What Is The Weight Limit For The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator is rated at 300 lbs (136 kg) on Drive's 10289 sheet. If you need 350 lbs and a seat, look at the Sprint. If you need 450 lbs, look at the Nitro HD.
Will The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator Fit In A Car Trunk?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator uses a trombone fold with a lock knob, and Drive prints 14 lbs (6.4 kg). Drive ships it in a compact carton. That is a lift into a typical car trunk. Drive does not print folded inches. Try the fold on the shop floor if you want to see it against your car.
Does The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator Have A Seat?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator does not have a seat. Drive built it with a basket, a tray, and a pouch. For a Drive rollator with a seat, use the Sprint or the Nitro HD.
Is The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel The Same As The Nitro 3-Wheel?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator is SKU 10289, a trombone frame with 7.5 inch casters, a basket, a tray, and a pouch. The Nitro 3-Wheel is SKU RTL10266TWHL, a hidden-cable Nitro with a 9.8 inch front wheel and a standing side fold. They are separate Drive products.
What Comes With The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator?
The Drive Deluxe 3-Wheel Rollator includes the aluminum trombone frame, the folding basket, the tray, and the pouch. Use Choose Color for Flame Red or Flame Blue.
Can I Rent A Rollator In The GTA?
Westin Healthcare rents walking aids for short-term needs in the GTA. See the rentals hub and call (905) 451-7743 to check what is on the floor. A rental rollator may be a different model than the Deluxe 3-Wheel.
