Description
The Drive deluxe folding walker is Drive Medical's 10210 two-button aluminum walker with 5 inch front wheels. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is the wheeled adult member of Drive's deluxe pair. The no-wheel sibling is the Drive Deluxe Folding Walker Two Button.
Drive lists a 3.4 kg (7.5 lb) adult frame, a 159 kg (350 lb) weight capacity, a 24 inch overall width, and 5 inch polypropylene and PVC front wheels with rear glide caps. Adult handles adjust from 32 to 39 inches (81 to 99 cm). The junior choice on Choose Walker Type is Drive's 10211 frame at 25 to 32.25 inches (63.5 to 82 cm).
Who this walker is for
This walker is for an adult who needs a lightweight folding walker with two front wheels, who will put some weight through the frame, and who wants a compact indoor aid rather than a four-wheel rollator. Families usually call us when a walker without wheels feels too heavy to lift and shift, or when a rollator seat is more than the person needs.
If you want the same deluxe two-button frame without wheels, start with the Drive 10200 Deluxe Folding Walker. If you need a taller steel frame, see the Drive Steel Folding Walker 10244. This 10210 is not a rollator and it is not the extra-short steel junior 10247.
- Adult deluxe aluminum frame with 5 inch front wheels
- 159 kg (350 lb) Drive rating on a 3.4 kg (7.5 lb) walker
- Two-button fold that lets each side close on its own
Fit and height
Drive prints adult handle height 32 to 39 inches (81 to 99 cm) on the 10210 sheet. The junior 10211 height on the same sheet is 25 to 32.25 inches (63.5 to 82 cm). Use Choose Walker Type to pick Adult or Junior before you order.
To choose a walker height, stand in everyday shoes with arms relaxed. The grips should sit at the wrist crease so the elbows bend a little when you hold the frame. We set the snap buttons at delivery. Drive does not print a user-height band in feet and inches on the current 10210 sheet, so we do not invent one.
Wheels, brakes, and folding
Two 5 inch (13 cm) polypropylene and PVC wheels sit on the front legs. Rear glide caps slide over most indoor floors. Drive names item 10109 as the replacement wheel set. This walker does not have loop hand brakes. You slow it by putting weight through the rear legs.
Each side has its own push button. Drive says the buttons work with fingers, the palm, or the side of the hand, so you can close one side to pass a doorway and keep the other side open while you stand. The 10210-4ASM carton Drive describes comes fully assembled.
Weight and portability
Drive lists 3.4 kg (7.5 lb) for the adult 10210. The junior 10211 line on the same sheet is 3.2 kg (7 lb). That is car-trunk work for most households. Drive does not print a folded width on the current sheet. The frame folds at the two buttons and stands against a wall or lies in a trunk. It is not a four-wheel rollator with a seat.
Drive Deluxe Folding Walker Two Button with 5" Wheels specifications
These figures are for Drive 10210, the deluxe aluminum two-button walker with 5 inch wheels. The specification tab holds the stored values. Drive's current sheet lists adult handle height 32 to 39 inches, junior 25 to 32.25 inches, a 159 kg (350 lb) capacity, a 24 inch (61 cm) overall width, 5 inch casters, and a 3.4 kg (7.5 lb) adult unit weight.
Do not mix these numbers with the steel 10244. That walker is 8 lb, 22.5 inches wide, and 32.5 to 41.5 inches tall. Do not mix them with the no-wheel 10200, which is 5.5 lb and 20 inches wide.
Warranty for the original purchaser is Drive's Limited Lifetime term: defects in materials and workmanship for the life of that purchaser. It does not cover misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to rubber accessories, casters, and grips.
Adult or junior
Use Choose Walker Type to set the frame. Adult is Drive 10210 at 32 to 39 inches. Junior is Drive 10211 at 25 to 32.25 inches. Both are deluxe aluminum walkers with 5 inch wheels and the same 159 kg (350 lb) rating. The extra-short steel junior is a different walker: the Drive Folding Junior Walker 10247 at 21 to 32 inches.
Walker or rollator
A walker like this 10210 has two front wheels or none, and you lift or slide the rear legs. Drive's own walker guide says walkers support people who need to put weight through the frame. A rollator has three or four wheels, hand brakes, and usually a seat. If you want a Drive rollator from our floor, start with the Drive Nitro 3-Wheel Rollator. If you want a Drive 2-wheel walker that does have a seat, see the Drive Two Wheeled Walker with Seat.
Funding help for a walker or rollator in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and the aid is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every model qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

Frequently asked questions
What Is the Difference Between a Walker and a Rollator?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 is a two-wheel walker: two 5 inch front wheels, rear glide caps, and no loop hand brakes. A rollator has three or four wheels, hand brakes, and usually a seat. Choose the walker when the person needs to put weight through the frame. Choose a rollator when they need balance help and a place to sit.
How Do I Choose a Walker Height?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 adult frame adjusts from 32 to 39 inches (81 to 99 cm). Stand in everyday shoes, relax the arms, and set the grips at the wrist crease. Use Choose Walker Type for the junior 10211 frame at 25 to 32.25 inches if that range is the fit.
Adult or Junior: Which Walker Size Do I Need?
The Drive deluxe folding walker Adult choice is 10210 at 32 to 39 inches. Junior on this product is 10211 at 25 to 32.25 inches. The extra-short steel junior at 21 to 32 inches is the Drive 10247, not this deluxe aluminum junior.
How Do Rear Glide Caps Work on a Wheeled Walker?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 rolls on 5 inch front wheels and slides the rear legs on Drive's glide caps. You do not lift the whole frame the way you lift a walker with four rubber tips. Replace worn caps and wheels when they flatten. Drive names 10109 as the replacement wheel set.
Will This Walker Fold Into a Car Trunk?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 folds at the two side buttons. Drive lists 3.4 kg (7.5 lb) for the adult frame and does not print a folded width. We can show you the fold at delivery. It is not approved as a seat inside a moving vehicle.
What Is the Weight Capacity of This Walker?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 is rated 159 kg (350 lb) on Drive's current sheet, adult or junior. Stay at or under that rating, including what you carry.
Is This a 2-Wheel Walker or a Rollator?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 is a 2-wheel walker. It is not a 3-wheel or 4-wheel rollator. It has no hand brakes and no seat.
What Is the Warranty on This Drive Walker?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 carries Drive's Limited Lifetime term for the original purchaser. Wear items such as casters, grips, and rubber accessories sit outside that term. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
Can Funding Help With a Walker in Ontario?
Some Ontario routes can help with mobility equipment. Eligibility depends on the person's situation and assessment. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
Can I Add Wheels to a Folding Walker?
The Drive deluxe folding walker 10210 already includes 5 inch front wheels. If you want swivel wheels instead of fixed wheels, ask us about Drive 10115 on the swivel wheel with lock page. If you wanted no wheels at all, use the 10200 deluxe walker.
