Description
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker is Drive Medical's two-button aluminum walker without wheels. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area. It is the no-wheel member of Drive's deluxe pair. The wheeled sibling is the Drive Deluxe Folding Walker 10210.
Drive lists a 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) frame, a 159 kg (350 lb) weight capacity, and a 20 inch (51 cm) overall width. The 1 inch aluminum tube uses Drive's U-shaped frame and improved crossframe so the person can bring the walker closer when standing up. This 10200 ships with rubber tips, not front wheels.
Who this walker is for
This walker is for an adult who wants a lightweight folding walker, who will lift the frame with each step, and who wants maximum stability on indoor floors. Families usually call us when a wheeled walker feels like it runs ahead, or when the person needs the deluxe crossframe to stand from a chair.
If you want the same deluxe two-button family with 5 inch wheels, start with the Drive 10210. If you want to add wheels later, ask us about Drive 10115 on the swivel wheel with lock page. This 10200 is not a 2-wheel walker as it leaves the carton.
- Deluxe aluminum two-button frame with no wheels
- 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) unit weight and 20 inch width
- U-shaped crossframe that comes in closer for standing
Fit and height
Drive's 10200 sheet does not print a handle range. The matching deluxe adult family (10210) prints 32 to 39 inches (81 to 99 cm). Use Choose Walker Type to pick Adult or Junior. Junior on this product is Drive's 10201 deluxe no-wheel youth frame, not the steel extra-short 10247.
To choose a walker height, stand in everyday shoes with arms relaxed. The grips should sit at the wrist crease. We set the snap buttons at delivery. Confirm the printed 10200 height with us if you need the figure from a 10200 sheet rather than the deluxe family sheet.
Wheels, brakes, and folding
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker has four rubber tips. It has no front wheels and no loop hand brakes. You lift the frame and place it. That is slower than a 5 inch wheeled walker and more planted on a slick kitchen floor.
Each side has its own push button. Drive says the buttons work with fingers, the palm, or the side of the hand. The U-shaped frame and improved crossframe are the deluxe no-wheel features: more clearance, and the walker comes closer when the person stands.
Weight and portability
Drive lists 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) and 20 inches (51 cm) wide. That is the lightest, narrowest deluxe walker in this family and a true lightweight folding walker for a car trunk. Drive does not print a folded width. The two-button fold closes the sides independently.
Drive Deluxe Folding Walker Two Button specifications
These figures are for Drive 10200-1, the deluxe aluminum two-button walker without wheels. The specification tab holds the stored values. Drive's current sheet lists a 159 kg (350 lb) capacity, a 20 inch overall width, a 5.5 lb unit weight, and carton weights 26 lb (adult case) and 24 lb (junior case).
Do not mix these numbers with the wheeled 10210. That walker is 7.5 lb, 24 inches wide, and includes 5 inch wheels. Do not mix them with the steel 10244, which is 8 lb, 22.5 inches wide, and 32.5 to 41.5 inches tall.
Warranty for the original purchaser is Drive's Limited Lifetime term: defects in materials and workmanship for the life of that purchaser. It does not cover misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to rubber accessories, casters, and grips.
Adult or junior
Use Choose Walker Type to set the frame. Adult is Drive 10200-1. Junior is Drive 10201. Both are deluxe aluminum walkers without wheels. The extra-short steel junior with 5 inch wheels is the Drive 10247, a different SKU.
Wheels or no wheels
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker is the no-wheel deluxe. The Drive 10210 is the same two-button family with 5 inch front wheels and rear glides. Pick 10200 when you want to lift the frame. Pick 10210 when you want to roll the front and slide the rear. A four-wheel rollator is a different product; start with the Drive Nitro 3-Wheel Rollator if a seat and hand brakes are the need.
Funding help for a walker or rollator in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and the aid is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every model qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive's sheet for the 10200 family prints a Limited Lifetime term for the original purchaser: free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of that purchaser. The warranty does not cover misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to non-durable parts such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What Is the Difference Between a Walker and a Rollator?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker is a standard walker with four rubber tips and no wheels. A rollator has three or four wheels, hand brakes, and usually a seat. Choose this walker when the person needs to put weight through the frame and lift it with each step.
How Do I Choose a Walker Height?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker uses the deluxe adult family height of 32 to 39 inches on the matching 10210 sheet. Drive's 10200 sheet does not print the range. Stand in everyday shoes, relax the arms, and set the grips at the wrist crease. Use Choose Walker Type for the junior 10201 frame.
Adult or Junior: Which Walker Size Do I Need?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker Adult choice is 10200-1. Junior is 10201. Both have no wheels. The steel extra-short junior with 5 inch wheels is the Drive 10247, not 10201.
Can I Add Wheels to a Folding Walker?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker leaves the carton with rubber tips. Drive 10109 and Drive 10115 are the wheel kits Drive names for folding walkers. Ask us before you order a kit so the height range still fits. Or start on the already-wheeled 10210.
Will This Walker Fold Into a Car Trunk?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker folds at the two side buttons. Drive lists 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) and does not print a folded width. That is the lightest deluxe walker in this family. It is not approved as a seat inside a moving vehicle.
What Is the Weight Capacity of This Walker?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker is rated 159 kg (350 lb) on Drive's current sheet. Stay at or under that rating, including what you carry.
Is This a 2-Wheel Walker or a Rollator?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker is a no-wheel walker. It is not a 2-wheel walker and it is not a rollator.
What Is the Warranty on This Drive Walker?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker carries Drive's Limited Lifetime term for the original purchaser. Wear items such as tips and grips sit outside that term. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
Can Funding Help With a Walker in Ontario?
Some Ontario routes can help with mobility equipment. Eligibility depends on the person's situation and assessment. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
How Do Rear Glide Caps Work on a Wheeled Walker?
The Drive 10200 deluxe folding walker does not use rear glide caps. Those caps belong on the wheeled 10210 and 10244. This 10200 uses rubber tips on all four legs.
