What medical equipment can I rent from Westin Healthcare?

We rent hospital beds (standard and premium), patient lifts (Hoyer lifts), ceiling lifts, mobility scooters, power wheelchairs, standard wheelchairs, tilt wheelchairs, transport wheelchairs, rollators, 2-wheel walkers and overbed tables. All equipment is fully sanitized and inspected before every rental. Visit our showroom in Brampton to see rental equipment in person.
What areas do you deliver rental equipment to?

We deliver across the entire Greater Toronto Area including Brampton, Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Scarborough, Oshawa, Ajax, Vaughan, Barrie, Waterloo and Cambridge. Same-day delivery is available.
How much does it cost to rent a hospital bed?

Hospital bed rentals start at $150 per month for a standard full-electric package including bed frame, therapeutic mattress and side rails. Premium beds with Trendelenburg start at $290/month. Multi-month rentals get discounted rates. Delivery, setup and pickup included across the GTA.
Can I apply rental payments toward a purchase?

Yes. On select equipment, we credit 100% of your rental payments toward the purchase price. If you return and buy a different product, we provide 50% credit of your rental amount.
Do you have long-term rental programs?

Yes. We offer long-term plans at discounted monthly rates. Rentals of 3+ months receive reduced pricing. We also offer rent-to-own on certain products.
Is there a security deposit?

Most products require a refundable deposit, returned in full when equipment comes back in good condition. Standard wear and tear is not considered damage.
Do you charge HST on hospital bed rentals?

Homecare beds are subject to HST in Ontario. However, a doctor's note prescribing the bed for medical use can waive the HST. Our team advises on required documentation.
Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes, we work with certain insurers directly. When you need to submit claims yourself, we provide all documentation and guide you through the process.
Is government funding available for rentals?

No general program covers medical equipment rentals. However, ODSP recipients may get caseworker approval for short-term rentals. Ontario Health at Home may cover palliative care bed rentals. Contact us to discuss your situation.
What if rental equipment is damaged?

Product defects are replaced free. If damage is from misuse (e.g., liquid spills on mattress), security deposit may be applied toward repair. We work with every customer to find the best resolution.
Can I pick up equipment myself?

Smaller items like walkers and rollators can be picked up from our Brampton showroom at 15 Fisherman Dr, Unit 7. Larger items require delivery due to weight and assembly.
What is the ADP (Assistive Devices Program)?

The Assistive Devices Program is an Ontario government program that helps people with long-term physical disabilities pay for customized equipment. ADP covers up to 75% of the cost of approved devices like wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds, and patient lifts.
