Maple Leaf NRG+ GOLD Folding Wheelchair

The Maple Leaf NRG+ GOLD is an aluminum lightweight manual wheelchair designed to achieve a 12″ seat to floor height while offering flip back removable arms, adjustable back canes, and both vertical and horizontal rear wheel adjustability. It is available for purchase from Westin Healthcare for $1,625.00.

The frame of the wheelchair is made of lightweight aluminum and is available in black, blue, silver-grey, burgundy, purple, or green. The chair widths range from 14″ to 18″ and the chair depths range from 16″ to 18″. The back cane is adjustable and the upholstery is made of strong “easy clean” nylon. The back upholstery is sleeved and padded and there are six upholstery colors to choose from.

The armrests are durable vinyl padded arm pads and are available as flip back removable adjustable arms or T-arms. The armrests can be full or desk length. The footrests are lightweight injection-molded black footplates that are detachable and swing-in, swing-out with nylon heel loops.

The wheels are black composite mag wheels with threaded urethane tires and durable chrome handrims. The axle positions are adjustable both vertically and horizontally. The brakes can be either pull-to-lock or push-to-lock.

The chair weight is 37 lbs (based on a 16″ x 16″ chair with T-arms and spoke wheels) and it has a maximum capacity of 250 lbs. The frame has a 5-year warranty while the additional components have a 2-year warranty.
